I live on Maui and I think West Maui is the best of Maui. Lahaina is close to Kapalua and Ka'anapali for golfers and there are many activity desks for convenient scheduling of ALL the fun on Maui. Yet, Lahaina still has the small town feel.
My condo is unique at Aina Nalu. It is located in a building that is separate from the rest of the resort. It is near the back of the property, away from most foot traffic, but close to the main pool.
The photographs do not fully illustrate the quality of furnishings and interior design at Aina Nalu. You will love it!
Aloha from Betty and John,
We live on Maui in Wailuku. Betty is retired from the software industry and I am a 'semi-retired' dentist. We love playing golf, stand up paddle, hiking in the rain forest, and hanging out with friends.

Lahaina Town is the most unique town in all of Hawaii. An old whaling village, Lahaina offers easy access to endless activities while maintaining it's polynesian roots.
Aina Nalu is the best value on Maui. It is 2 short blocks from the ocean and close to many activities. The interiors and furnishings were designed by an award winning firm - modern, yet maintaining the tropical polynesian flavor. Huge walk in showers, granite counters in kitchen and bath, berber carpets, stone floors are just a few of the upgrades you will enjoy. It is walking distance to Foodland, Starbucks, and Jamba Juice (two blocks north on Waine'e)
Don't ever sell this place.!!! We dream of staying here again and again. very nice! We all loved it! Close to everything and a beautiful condo! We swam in teh pool alot and walked everwhere in Lahaina. Showers are awesome!!! Beds very comfy!

This Aina Nalu Condo was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and was overly pleased with our accommodations. Beds were absolutely comfortable and condo was immaculate. I recommend this condo and will be telling family who is planning a visit next year. It had everything we could have asked for. Thank you so much for an amazing Hawaiian Vacation. We plan on going back.
This condo offers 2Bed & 2 Bath, all kitchen stuff and is located perfectly in Lahaina. The Aina Nalu offers a very nice pool and several BBQ's.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Aina Nalu. The location could not have been more convenient for shopping and dining. Just a couple of minutes drive to nearby beaches. The condo is only a few steps away from the swimming pool - a definite bonus after a hot day out and about.
Inside, the condo was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. TV and air conditioning in every room. Having 2 bathrooms was also very convenient. The combo lock on the door is also great since you never have to worry about losing the key. John was also very accommodating, always available by phone or by text to answer any questions.
We would not hesitate to stay here again when we return to Maui.
Note: Remember to factor in $20 / nt. for on-site parking unless you can find street parking
Can walk to everything Lahaina has to offer and short drive to beautiful beaches. The complex is beautiful and oh so quiet. TV in every room (which includes Netflix), free internet, w/d, two full bathrooms, complete kitchen, and comfortable beds made our stay very comfortable. Unfortunately we were not able to find close street parking when needed but the $20 per day charge was worth it to have our vehicle just outside our door. I have stayed at many VRBO and this is indeed one of the best. Clean and well cared for. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Mahalo John!
We loved our five days at John's condo. It is very comfortable with all the helpful amenities, including great A/C, wireless interness, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, beach towels and toys. It is a short walk from both pools, which was super for our young boys. The grounds are pristine. Parking was generally available on the street to avoid the $20/day cost. Front Street, with its historic seaside charm, fun restaurants and shops, is two blocks away. John answered our questions quickly prior to arrival and checked in with us shortly after arriving to ensure that all was well. We'd return in a heartbeat!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in John's condo. John was easy to deal with and responded quickly to all of our emails. The condo was very spacious with lots of room for the four of us, including a 16 year old girl and 14 year old boy, who definitely need some distance from each other at times! The fixtures and fittings were lovely and John's photos really don't do them justice. The property is extremely clean with the basics provided including laundry powder, dishwasher powder etc. and a hair dryer in each of the bathrooms. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, flippers, beach towels and beach toys (not necessary for our children) provided. The location in the complex was perfect, separated from the more populated area but only a short walk to the infinity pool (but still far enough away to be peaceful). The Netflix provided was enjoyed by the teenagers on our quieter evenings.
Being located only a short walk from Front Street, Lahaina was a treat and we enjoyed exploring the shops, Art Galleries and restaurants there. There is no beach suitable for swimming within walking distance but it is only a short drive to the beautiful West Maui beaches of Napili Bay, Ka'anapali Beach and our favourite Kahekili Beach Park (which has a large free public carpark, which is hard to find in the area)! We loved driving the Road to Hana and ending a long day watching the sunset from the Haleakala Summit. We certainly saw a lot of Maui and John's condo was an excellent base to do this from. It was always pleasant to return there in the evenings!
John's condo was one of the cheaper rentals we could find in the area but it was still very high quality. It is a shame the complex charges $20 per day for parking as the carpark is largely empty. We know that this is not within John's control and we did manage to find parking on the side streets despite the complex being very busy.
We would highly recommend this condo to family and friends and hope to return in the future.
