The Lion House at the GG Conservation is one of its kind lodge to stay in! The moment you step out of the house you are surrounded by lions, which is truly an unique experience.
I stayed there for 5 nights and without a doubt it was once in a lifetime experience. The best part was the numerous lions roaring at night, which gives you a feeling that you are literally sitting between the lions. The lion house itself was very neat and comfortable with all the facilities like fully equipped kitchen, patio, heated beds for winter nights etc.
Suzanne was there throughout my stay to assist me and was extremely helpful! she made sure that I have a wonderful stay at the Lion House. I would really recommend to all the adventurers out there to visit and stay at the Lion House @ GG Conservation and get close to the majestic lions at this facility.
I would like to thank you all for making my stay overwhelming and awesome! I will be definitely coming back in near future.
Positives: Location, comfort, cleanliness, super quick internet, helpful staff (especially Suzanne) and most important is the taste of adventure you get at the Lion House!
Negatives: Cannot think of any!
Bucket list ticked
Was happy to tick it off my bucket list but no one seemed interested to introduce us to the lions and their day to day running of the place.
We are delighted that Sylvia managed to tick off an item of her bucket list, and that she was able to do that at Lion House. Our interactive experiences were offered to Sylvia and family, but were declined as the family were all feeling under the weather with flu. Hopefully on their next visit they can all join us on an interpretive walk and introduction to all our wonderful lions
An absolute dream!
I can't say enough about the Lion House and GG Conservation! The house is adorable and had everything we needed including heating blankets on the beds for the chillier nights. The owners were there to greet us as we arrived and then Suzanne made sure we were settled in. We did the feeding experience and the game drive around the property as well. They cost extra, but well worth it as all the proceeds go back to the lions. To be able to sit out on the patio, have lions playing/walking right in front of you and to hear lions roaring in unison is something I don't want to ever forget, absolutely incredible. The love they have for the lions is obvious and they are more than happy to talk to you all about them. Pat, Traci, and Suzanne, thank you for everything and I will be back someday!
Thank you Megan for your wonderful review it was a pleasure to host you all! Hope to see you back here again soon..
