Just like home, very comfortable and stocked with everything you could need
FISHING EEL BAY
The house is very nice. You can dock your boats at the property, it was different because the water was so high. If we stay here again, I would bring slippers. If it rains hard you don't want to track mud through the house. We lucked out and it did not rain much. We all enjoyed this upgrade compared to a tiny cottage with minimal amenities. Whether you fish or not it is a great place to stay.
Get away before the summer season
The house and the location are beautiful. The house was clean and well supplied. We spent many hours on the deck watching the water activity and wild life, it was very quiet. The house is said to sleep 11 people, I think, but the sleeping arrangements were odd for our group of 3 couples. The master bedroom is wonderful, private bathroom, laundry, able to be closed off from the rest of the house. The other bedrooms and sleeping arrangements were better suited to children, rather than couples. That said, we made the arrangements work and enjoyed out time immensely. The main room of the house was great for talking, playing board games, eating, and reading. The view from the deck was so restful and peaceful. The "Guzzle", the local restaurant opened while we were there and the food was good It is an easy walk from the house. Crossing back to the Mainland USA there are many places to eat and schedule tours of the islands. All in all a good time.
This is a beautiful cottage with a spacious deck area and well equipped for enjoying. Would return in a minute.
Beautiful cottage! So peaceful and it was really easy to find and coordinate with the owner, Becky. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend renting this property!
A group of 8 ladies and I rented this house for the weekend a couple weeks ago. This house met our needs perfectly! Unfortunately, it was very cold and rainy when we stayed there so we didn't get much time to enjoy on the dock like we had hoped. We still had a great time regardless of the weather. We visited the town of Clayton a couple times during our stay as there wasn't much open in the Thousand Islands Park yet as it was still off season. We would definitely return.
