Lovely apartment, well situated and the private terrace a bonus.

My husband and I had a most enjoyable week in Koblenz at this well situated apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Was within easy access of the bus stop to take us daily over to Koblenz city and a supermarket at the end of the street. Unfortunately due to recent flooding the small ferry was not in use which was a disappointment but the regular bus took us into the centre.

As we were from Scotland and did not speak any German we found it difficult as there were no leaflets or instructions for anything in English to start us on our holiday so we had to go to the Information Office in the city before we could plan our various trips. As this holiday is on an English website it perhaps it would be advisable to have leaflets in English available to people who rent and cannot speak German. TV was available but again we only found one channel that we could understand. A couple of other things that would have been useful are a microwave and a hairdryer which are normally standard in rental properties.

However, all in all, we overcame these obstacles and had a glorious week in Koblenz - a beautiful and interesting city.

Very nice

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights in this ground floor apartment and it was great. It is spacious and we found it great for our two year old as there was a cot bed, toys, highchair and proper bath. It was easy to get to the Koblenz centre by the little boat which took us across the Mosel. Thank you Yvonne for a lovely stay and for helping us book a taxi when we needed one!
