About the property

Large wonderful garden, 4 room fireplace, mod. Kitchen, TV, Internet, max. 6 pers.

The house is in the summer to good use for the holidays and winter because it has modern glazed windows, underfloor heating in 2 rooms, a fireplace in the living room and electric heaters in the bedrooms. A room in the basement, with fantastic views, has a sep. Bathroom with toilet and shower. It has a separate entrance. The kitchen is modern with a very large eye level oven, ceramic hob, dish-washer and washing machine with integrated dryer. The rooms are all individually and tastefully decorated. It feels very fast 'at home' and not, as in a strange house. Towels and linen are sufficiently available. Telephone, satellite TV, DVD player and internet are available. The garden has 2 levels is terraced and beautifully designed with old dry stone walls and stone stairs. In addition to the large terrace it still has a stone table and a stone bench under a grape arbor on the upper level with a garden a beautiful view of the lake.

Cannobio is a 10 minute drive, so you can buy very cheap and the strong Swiss franc does not interfere.

The house is very well equipped. For the garden chairs there are cushions for the garden table suitable tablecloths. The sun awning for the terrace can be electrically extend and retract. There is an outdoor lighting in the garden. There is no lift. Approximately 140 steps are mastered by the covered parking area to the house.

The house has a wonderful location on the hillside with magnificent panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. Since it is surrounded by terraced gardens and also has a large terrace, the wonderful views from many places of the land is possible. It is very quiet as it is not located directly on the road. There are 2 parking spaces 140 steps lead to the house. On foot it takes about 15 minutes to the village Brissago. The Lido is reachable in 10 minutes. Locarno and Ascona are very quickly accessible by bus or boat. Since the house is located directly on the Italian border, Cannobio is for shopping also within very quickly by car or by boat. Skiing is very possible either in Bosco Gurin or in Spliigen.
