Overview

Teton Village Chalet Rental Photos and Description

Log Home, 2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 5)

As featured in Town and Country Travel and chosen by Andrew Harper LLC travel experts as a premium property, Granite Ridge cabin is the Quintessential Mountain Log Cabin. Upon entering the hand hewn lodgepole pine and stone log cabin, built in 1998 and anchored on Granite Ridge overlooking the Four Seasons Hotel and Teton Village, you will be greeted with stunning mountain, forest, valley and village views. The quiet private 2100 square foot log 'cabin', designed in the Arts and Craft tradition, is a perfect sanctuary for those looking for a resort quality Western experience in a luxury log home, with hotel-like amenities, surrounded by the beauty of the Teton Mountains and Jackson Hole. Convenient to Grand Teton National Park, Jackson, Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park, wonderful lifetime memories are created in this elegant home surrounded by the beauty of nature.

The two levels are finely appointed with resort Western furnishings of leather, iron and wood befitting the Wyoming location. Upon returning to the comfort of the air conditioned cabin after a day of skiing, hiking or outdoor adventuring, there are several choices to relax: soaking in the private 6 person hot tub outside under the Tetons, hydrotherapy in the tub for two in the master suite, reading in front of the large wood burning Longhorn fireplace, watching the latest media on the 60 SMART TV with cable and universal remote or simply sitting in front of the windows and enjoying the majesty of the Teton Mountains from the point of Granite Ridge. Seasonally, dining and relaxing on the Frontgate teak furniture on the outdoor deck with beautiful alpine views is another option. If outdoor adventures bring hunger, there are many options within walking distance including continental dining at the Four Seasons, western cuisine at the Couloir Restaurant on Rendezvous Mountain via an evening ride on the Bridger Gondola, Italian dining at the Osteria in the Hotel Terra, Teton Thai or everyone's favorite, the classic Mangy Moose Restaurant. Within an easy 10 minute drive, dining out choices increase to Sushi, Austrian, more Italian and BBQ. For the cooking and dining in options, there is a fully equipped cook's kitchen with Caphalon cookware, GE Profile appliances, a two burner Weber gas grill and table linens to prepare and serve a full meal. Frontgate teak counter height furniture on the deck overlooks the Teton Mountains for alpine dining in the summer. If none of these convenient dining choices appeal to you, the town of Jackson is only 20 minutes away with even greater variety of restaurants to choose from.

Nighttime entertainment is a roaring fire under the 20 ft ceilings in the living area; star gazing over the Tetons from the hot tub or lodge area, enjoying the entertainment center with 60' SMART TV with cable, Bose IPod, complimentary wireless internet access or taking a short, romantic walk to the Village for live music.

The entrance to Grand Teton National Park is one mile from the front door, the south entrance to Yellowstone is one hour away, and the town of Jackson is a beautiful 20 minute drive. For the outdoor lover: golfing, hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, scenic float trips, trail rides and wildlife viewing are within minutes of the house. For the spa lover: wellness treatments are available at the Four Seasons and Snake River Resort, within minutes of the cabin. Wintertime fun like cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snow mobile trips and dog sled excursions are available at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort - five minutes away or by arrangement at the front door. .

Why Patricia Thorn chose Teton Village

There were three reasons we purchased this property:

- Location - we can walk, cycle or take a bus to meals and/or music in Teton Village and Jackson

- Views - the stunning ever changing views coupled with the tranquility of nature

- Location - Grand Teton National Park is one mile and Yellowstone is one hour from the front door

What makes this chalet unique

Our location across from the Four Seasons Resort and 150 feet from a private rope tow to Teton Village and base lifts is perfect for access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and ski schools

You can watch the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Tram from the base village to the top of the Rendezvous Mountain from the 12 foot picture windows in the home - 4,000 feet of incredible ever changing views year round.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My husband, daughter, and her boyfriend had the BEST time! They said that the cabin was great and they would like to go back again next year! We are thinking about the week of Dec. 26th. Is this cabin available and if so what is the price and do you have to rent it for a week? Also where are the rest of the owner's listings? I remember you saying that she had other rental properties that were just as great. Thank you for renting this to us and encouraging me to rent it. We are very happy with the results! Look forward to hearing from you.

wonderful property with fantastic view

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed all over the Jackson Hole area and found this house to be our favorite so far. Perfect location...we were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the patio and had an easy walk to anywhere in the Village. Accommodations at the house were fantastic with nice touches everywhere...including wonderfully comfortable beds AND a/c for the warmer days. Not many places in the area have a/c and sometimes you just really want it. Was a wonderful stay for our family. Add in the deer taking an afternoon walk right on our path most days -- awesome!

Perfect Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

This was our first ever visit to Jackson Hole and it could not have been better. The home was spotless and perfectly sized for our family of 5. Amazing views, a mile from Grand Teton National Park, 15 minutes to town, an hour from Yellowstone and a 2-minute walk to restaurants, the tram/gondola and outdoor activities.

The house included everything we needed and Patricia thought of everything. Our vacation was PERFECT and I'm so glad we chose this home. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Jackson area.

Great house

  • 5 of 5

We had a fun time. The house is ideally situated in Teton Village close for walking to restaurants in the Village or a short drive to Jackson Hole . The house was very comfortably furnished and had all the kitchen appliances and utensils someone would want -- even a wok! It was nice to arrive and the hot tub was running and two BBQ units were on the porch with full bottles of gas. The internet was slow but you are very lucky to have a connection at all in that area.

We had a great time and now know we have a special place in Teton/Jackson Hole to come back to in the future.

Perfect place for a ski trip

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed the house - great location for skiing, just a short walk to the private rope tow. Excellent views of the mountain and valley. The living room and kitchen were fantastic, well appointed, comfortable. Master bathroom shower was luxurious and the hot tub was a great perk. Would stay here again any time I'm in Jackson Hole.

One caveat - if you are not planning on having a car the walk up from the village where the restaurants and convenience stores is pretty steeply uphill, depending on what kind of shape you are in.

Great view

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was great. 2 very nice bedrooms and beds. Sun in the Window overlooking the slopes all day.

It's a bit of all walk in ski boots to the rope toe. We carried our stuff and put on boots at the toe.

Wood burning fireplace, big TV and comfortable chairs made a great hangout after skiing.
