Come enjoy our home-away-from-home located in the delightful and recently renovated Outrun complex. With a single-floor design, and huge windows overlooking the mountains, our three-bedroom condominium at Mount Crested Butte is spacious and open, comfortably and tastefully decorated, and ideal for families with children. Our favorite parts - sipping wine in front of the fireplace, watching the moon rise over Crested Butte mountain, and just kicking back after a fun day of skiing, hiking, or biking. And the next morning, watching the sun burst over the mountain and flood the living and dining room with light and warmth. Spring, summer, or fall it is breakfast on the deck.
We have a fully-equipped kitchen, which features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and elegantly designed backlighted cabinetry. top of the line cabinetry with upper cabinets back-lighted. Master bath features stone tiled walls and floor and both Master and guest baths cabinets are topped with marble. The Condo also has a gas grill on the front deck, high-speed internet access, full-size washer and dryer located in the Condo, not down the hall, and a garage - great for keeping he snow off the car in the winter. The master suite has a king-size bed, private bath, and deck. The other two bedrooms have a queen-size bed in one and two singles in the other with lots of drawer space in all three. And just steps away from the door are complex amenities - a tennis court and outdoor hot tub with shower and changing area.
A free shuttle service provides easy access to the slopes and shops of Mount Crested Butte and the historic Victorian town of Crested Butte.
We are from Atlanta, Georgia. But love Crested Butte, the people, the shops, Teocali Tamale (the best Tamales this side of heaven), the mountains, the skiing, the hiking, and the biking.
Bob Kennedy purchased this condo in 2003
Of all the properties we saw, none had a layout as comfortable as this single floor design, none had such a large deck, and none had such a grand view of the mount.
Easy access, wood burning fireplace, comfort with a touch of class, and a garage with indoor access.
Perfect size for our family of 5, we had such a lovely ski weekend. The open family/dining/kitchen area was perfect for meals in every night. We didn't go out to eat once (although I hear there is good eating around, we just found the condo so cozy we didn't want to leave). The kids played games at the big table, we grilled, used the hot tub, and used the shuttle to get to the slopes. We also walked to the resort when we didn't have our ski gear, it's a short walk. The condo is well stocked and it is clear the owners enjoy it themselves and keep it nice. We like to try a new Colorado ski area every winter but if we ever come back to CB we'd definitely stay here again. The owners were easy to contact and the price was right.
A very nice condo with great access to everything you'd want to visit in Crested Butte. The owners are very nice to work with. The view is beautiful and the condo was well stocked with everything we needed. We hope to return in the summer next time. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us! Everything exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful time and will recommend to all of our friends. Thanks so much!!
We have stayed in five different condos in Crested Butte and this is by far our favorite! Excellent view, beautiful furnishings, clean, well-stocked, great location--you name it. Love the wood burning fireplace and the garage. Lots of light. So nice to stay in a kitchen that actually can be cooked in! A short walk to the ski lifts, but on the shuttle route if you don't want to walk. Quiet location and neighbors. Price is good. And did I mention the VIEW? Would be nice to have a TV in the master bedroom, but other than that everything really is perfect. We hope to stay here again and again. Love this place!
Our family of 6 stayed here over the 4th of July holiday week and had a fabulous time. The condo is cozy, clean and comfortable. There's an awesome view of Mt. Crested Butte right out the back deck where we would have coffee in the morning as the sun rose. It was also nice that it is so close to the resort (just across the street) where there are restaurants, shops and the ski lift. Plus, the bus stop is just around the corner to catch the (free) bus that runs up and down the mountain into town all day. We'll definitely hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you to the Kennedy's for allowing us to rent their beautiful property.
Excellent place to stay. There were four of us that came out to ride 4-wheelers in the area, and this condo worked out perfect for us. You cant find anything like this for the price down in town. I have a 4 door long bed truck and I was pulling a 15 foot trailer so I was glad to see that the parking lot was big enough for me to turn around in, and park without getting in anyones way, of course the last week of September is the off season so there were very few cars in the parking lot. This wouldn't have worked out as well at a busier time of the year. We liked having the garage because we kept all of our 4-wheeler gear like rack bags coolers and rain gear in there when we got home at night. After we put our gear in the garage it was just one flight of stairs up to the front door. Once we were inside there was a nice larg living room with a deck looking out toward the mountain ski runs. On the deck there is a very nice gas grill that we used. The kitchen has everything you need with nice appliances and it was nice to have a washer and dryer, we got cought in a snow storm and had a lot of wet clothes. The bed rooms are nice with plenty of room. We like to go to town at night and we didnt want to drive so this condo is perfect because the bus stop is about 100 yards away, you just walk across the parking lot to a flight of stairs that takes you by the hot tub down to the lower parking lot where the bus stop is. We used the hot tub which was nice a lot of the places we looked at staying said that their hot tubs were closed for maintenance until ski season started. In September the bus only runs every 40 minutes so dont miss it or you will be waiting for a while, but since you are so close to the condo you can just run back up the stairs and hang out in the condo while you watch the clock a little closer for the next one. I recomend you stay here, it has a great location, great price and the owner was easy to work with.
