Quite near Los Llanos, on the west side of the island is our home: Sol, in a large plot of approx 3000 sqm. The view of the ocean can be had from almost anywhere. Even from inside the house, so the real effect of images the window. The City of Los Llanos is within easy walking distance (about 20 minutes). Nevertheless, the location and the surrounding area is quiet and rural. A supermarket and a bus stop is within easy walking distance. The beach of Puerto Naos in 15 minutes by car, and the Tazacorte in Fig.10. In the garden there in season fruit for harvest itself. (Avocados, oranges, papaya, Crapfrut, bananas ... and many Kreuter for self-sufficiency in the kitchen. The house SOL also has a heating option, if times comes out on the few colder days in the spring not the sun, and the house during the day can not naturally heat. To stem the house: The construction of this house is modeled after the old Canarian houses. That means a wooden roof construction over every room (except the kitchen) The transition from inside to outside is through the different terrace doors, fluently. The sea view is given from almost everywhere, z. B. from the sofa or from the bed. The garden is a somewhat naturally feral plant with many native plants, but will still need, at least in summer, always be cast. The island and its 2 cities: The island La Palma is so varied and different, it is like a small continent. The east side is dominated by the sea air, and is more rain and cloudy. The west side has more of a Continental climate with large temperature differences, and sun-soaked. The vegetation is very different. The south is more like the island of Lanzarote with its volcanoes (some still active and hot) and lava fields. The north is the dense rain forest with huge trees. La Palma is the only Canary Island that has a permanent flow. (In Barranco Las Angustias in Taburiente) The almond tree culture was formerly of great importance, now it is the banana. The climate is tropical and sup- very different depending on the altitude, (the small island rises to 2400m) Santa Cruz de la Palma is a very historic city, in which over the centuries families from all Mr. countries Dutch.

Very close, but perfectly separad, another house is one of us. This should be considered even in apartment, under the no. Property 7 7 4 0 5 9. Both houses have a large distance of about 45 m apart, separate entrances and are completely separate with no eye contact and auser earshot. Both houses have internet via WLAN connection.

Excellent holiday house

We stayed in this house for 8 nights, after 5 nights near Barlovento. Everything matched the description given by the owner. The location of this house is perfect to discover the central and southern part of La Palma, and still very quiet.

On the large terrace, we had 1 spot for aperitif, and another for breakfast.

There is a shop nearby, and a cheap and excellent grocery shop on arrival on the main road from the house.

We hiked a lot, and you can find bus or taxi easily to return to the place where you left your car. Nice hikes are the Caldeira Taburiente, and the Volcano route.

It is easy to go for dinner in Los Llanos, or on the main road to El Paso, but also Puerto de Tazacorte has some very nice restaurants.you also find a nice beach there.

I would recommend this house to anyone who likes to stay in a quiet environment, with good comfort, nice views. And on this side if the island the weather is much better than on the east coast.

Einfach paradiesisch

Schon nach einem Tag habe ich gesagt: hier will ich nie wieder weg! Dieses Ferienhaus ist einfach paradiesisch. Die Lage, der Garten, die Terrasse, aber auch die Einrichtung, die liebevolle Ausstattung – alles blitzsauber und gepflegt. Nach jedem Ausflug ging mir wieder das Herz auf, wenn ich “nach Hause“ kam - der Garten und die Terrasse von Casa Sol waren mir für diese zwei Wochen der liebste Ort.

Die Lage: ideal! Ruhige Alleinlage in ländlicher Umgebung, und das schöne Los Llanos zum Bummeln fußläufig erreichbar. Zentral gelegen für Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen (Nord, Süd, Santa Cruz). Der schöne Badestrand in Tazacorte schnell erreichbar.

Von der großen Terrasse freier Fernblick zum Meer, und von der „Frühstücksterrasse“ bei der Küche Blick über Los Llanos hinüber zu den Bergen in Morgenlicht – traumhaft!

Der Garten: paradiesisch, immer wieder entdeckt man neue exotische Pflanzen, von ganz kleinen bis ganz großen. Mich hielt es nie lange auf meinem Terrassenstuhl – meine Schritte lenkten mich immer wieder in dieses wilde und doch so gepflegte Stück Natur mit seinen Avocados und Papayas, und ich habe es einfach nur genossen, dort zu sein.

Apropos Terrasse: sie ist riesengroß und umwerfend schön. Wie eine Theaterbühne öffnet sie sich dem Blick in die Weite aufs Meer. Für abends gibt es eine gute Außenbeleuchtung, so dass man bei Dunkelheit auch noch draußen lesen kann.

Das Haus: es hat viel Atmosphäre mit seinen hübschen kanarischen Holzdächern (innen!), ist blitzsauber und liebevoll ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts, in der Küche ist wirklich an alles gedacht, was man braucht, bis hin zu Filtertüten für die Kaffeemaschine. Dazu kleine Extras wie Reiseführer über die Insel, Nähzeug, ein Sonnenschirm für den Strand etc.

Die Betten haben straffe Matratzen, gute Kopfkissen und leichte flauschige Bettdecken.

Martin Kummerow ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Wir haben über “Nachricht an den Vermieter“ direkt bei ihm gebucht, völlig unkompliziert, mit nettem E-Mail-Kontakt. Herzliche Grüße an dieser Stelle!

Fazit: Unsere zwei Wochen in der Casa Sol waren so schön – wir müssen einfach wiederkommen!

Gemütliches Haus in Alleinlage

Das Haus mit dem großen Garten entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Das Grundstück liegt kurz vor Los LLanos und ist auch nicht weit vom Meer entfernt. Mit dem Mietwagen war es ein Katzensprung in den Ort oder an den Strand. Nachts ist es im Haus sehr ruhig und man kann sich jeden Tag ausschlafen. Die Einrichtungsgegenstände sind alle voll funktionsfähig. Der Eigentümer ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kurz gesagt, was will man mehr?

Wir haben zwei Wochen in der Casa Sol verbracht und waren rundum glücklich und zufrieden.

Das Haus hat eine wunderbare ruhige Lage mit tollem Blick auf das Meer. Geschäfte, Restaurants und Strand sind schnell und gut zu erreichen. Im Bezug auf die Ausstattung ist alles vorhanden, was man als Urlauber benötigt.

Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter ist absolut zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und überaus freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten zwei tolle Wochen in diesem schönen und sehr gepflegten Haus verbringen dürfen. Ein sehr netter Vermieter der einem tolle Tipps und Infos über die Insel gegeben hat. Der Garten der das Haus umgibt ist ein Traum für Naturliebhaber, der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Atlantik haben wir jeden Morgen beim Frühstück genossen.

Hier hat man Erholung pur.

Wir werden wieder kommen.

Quite near Los Llanos, on the west side of the island lies our detached house with a large priv. Garden. The City of Los Llanos is easy on foot to reach (approx 20 min.) The view is to the sea and the mountains. Gorgeous sun sunsets. The area is rural and quiet. Old almond trees, flowers and lawns, and many native ornamental and useful plants dominate the purely private land of about 3000 square meters.

The natives of La Palma were the Guanschen, they must have descended from the Berbers in the High Atlas, we Guanschen names and place names are very similar to those in the Atlas and the pre-Sahara region. In any case, they were exterminated by the Spaniards, and only today we are interested for them again. The recent history of La Palma begins place after the island conquest and subsequent colonization. Multiple the island was threatened by pirate attacks, which still bear witness to fixing plants in St. Cruz. Mostly was the economic life of the island. The banana cultivation since the 50ziger of the past century has made many small farmers to wealthy people. (Water is so abundant) until the EU accession of Spain has spoiled the thriving business. La Palma is its own little world of its own, with its own laws. (Ungeschriebenen-) The City of Los Llanos (the plains), is quite different from St. Cruz, it has grown with the bananas and today still very manageable and comfortable with their beautiful plaza with the old Indian laurel trees on which plays the central point and the turning circle of the city. Los LL. acts as a rich city. The beaches of Puerto Naos and Tazacorte are made of black sand (equal to the lava), it is bathed throughout the year. A fishing port there as well. In addition still the ferry and cargo ship port of St. Cruz.
