Modern Large Open Concept New Build Property
About Alison Lawson
Originating from the Lake District in North West England our family emigrated to Canada in 2005 settling in Langley 30km outside of Vancouver. In 2006 Chris started in business as a General Contractor working in the local area with Alison employed in the retail sector. In due course our 2 children, Ben & Chloe moved out of the family home and the decision made in 2010 to look for a build project. The property we fell in love with was at the time a hole in the ground with the remains of the previous burnt out dwelling filling it, but the view was something else. In 2014 we started to build completing in August 2015. A tough year, most of the finishing work done by ourselves, but we are pleased with the result and we hope that everyone who comes to visit enjoys their stay as much as we enjoy being here.
Alison Lawson purchased this House in 2011
Why Alison Lawson chose Hope
The property reminds us of where we used to live, however on a larger scale and with 4 distinct seasons. It provides the Backcountry setting with all modern amenities and close to road links and in Hope a town which is big enough to service all our needs.

Fantastic Hidden Gem
Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends and some pups and it was the perfect location for us! We had a group of 13 people and the house was spacious enough to accommodate everyone. Everything is as pictured/described. It was a very easy process communicating with Alison and Chris and we all had a great time.
Great time! Beautiful place
We had 12 guys come up for the weekend doing some golfing in between being at the house and the place is spectacular! The view off the deck is one of the best I've ever seen. Doesn't get much better. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for all of us.
Kitchen and outdoor BBQ served all our needs as well as we could have hoped. We spent all of our time outside around the property and on the deck. Hot tub was a little wonky but Chris was working on a repair from a previous booking but it worked just fine.
All in all we had a fantastic time and Alison and Chris are very accommodating and responded to any questions right away.
Would not hesitate to stay here again!
Thank you guys for having us!!
Fabulous home, fantastic location and Alison and Chris are excellent hosts.
Overlooking the Fraser River valley, towering snow capped mountains staying here should renew your soul
Fantastic spot. Owners are great . We were 14 adults and kids
Everyone enjoyed the house and the magnificient view.
Beautiful property and wonderful hosts
We had a great stay at the property. We had 3 babies and everything was provided and stocked including baby crib and feeding necessities. The house was very well designed and functional, great for get togethers and family events. Alison and Chris were very welcoming and accommodating, knowing we are with three munchkins.
Overall it was a pleasant stay and we look forward to coming back in the future. Highly recommend!
Simply the best vacation rental I have ever been to.
The house is amazing, the view is amazing & the owners are beyond amazing. This is my 3rd stay at American Creek Lodge & I will be back again & again. One thing we did this time that we hadn't done before was had a wiener roast, it was great.
