Perfect!

Myself, wife and two young children stayed at this idilic apartment this summer 2010 and had the most wonderful time. The flat is finished to very high standards and is spotlessly clean. The owners have paid a lot of attention to detail and the experience is more like a five star hotel suite. We received wine and snacks on arrival together with flowers and chocolates! The views are simply stunning and the location/position is the best... I would wholeheartedly recommend this property and I am sure it is better than any of the local Hotel offerings in the Pto. Banus area..

Brilliant choice for anyone wanting a perfect spot

Great all-round accommodation - gave us the best base for easy access to the beach, restaurants, shopping and fun.. Makes for a stress free holiday as no car is needed. The apartment is modern, clean and bright and in top condition. Great gym with lots of top equipment, even a rowing machine! Concierge are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and we will book this place again without hesitation.. Chloe and Paul

Amazing apartment with sea views

We had an amazing stay at Marina Banus and found the apartment very relaxing, comfortable whilst also very close to the buzz and vibe of Pto Banus. The apartment also has great views of the sea, so ideal for a lazy breakfast or drinks before heading out in the evening :-)

Absolutely Stunning - Best in Spain

The setting is absolutely amazing. Apartment has the best views I have ever seen and it like being aboard a cruise ship or an aircraft.. Furthermore the location and the facilities are all round - "first class": Seconds away are Brasseries, Elegant Bars and top restaurants like the award winning Spanish "La Moraga" and the best Thai restaurant "Naga". No need for a car as the beach is outside and so is the port. The accommodation is top notch with leather sofas, king size bed and marble bathrooms. The concierge is very polite and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend booking this home and you will not be disappointed. This has to be the ultimate spot in Puerto Banus... If you want to enjoy Banus this is the place...

Would definitely not recommend this property. While the apartment was clean and well located, the furnishings were worn, stained, chipped and ripped. Despite their advertising to the contrary the linens were extremely limited and of poor quality, there were no telephone, ceiling fans, clothes dryer (other than a rack on the balcony which becomes an issue when you need to launder the only set of sheets supplied), bottled water or ice maker. Further, we were shocked to arrive at the apartment only to find out that there were additional costs for internet, electricity, cleaning and administration, none of which were set out in the advertisement or our agreement. We specifically asked if there were any additional costs for the rental in at least three different e-mails all of which were ignored. Upon our return home and after the appropriate length of time we started e-mailing requesting the return of our security deposit. These e-mails were also ignored until we involved VRBO following which we received an e-mail saying our correspondence had gone to their spam folder! They then advised us they had sent the money via wire transfer which was a fabrication as we had not provided them with any of our banking information. Once we did so we eventually received approximately 1/4 of our security deposit despite the fact there was no damage to the property. I am certain there are many other lovely places to rent in the area from owners/property managers who are honest and trustworthy.

Owner's Response: We tried our utmost to please this client starting with a 1,000Euro discount on their booking and later also flexible on extending their departure date at no extra charge. We also made sure WiFi internet was installed for their stay and responded to all requests promptly by return email or telephone call.. They were also advised on the terms at the point of booking. The client was a couple and they had four beds and sets of linens to sleep four adults in two bedrooms.. We do and did supply two sets of linens on longer bookings and there are three options for domestic services: 1. Washer/Dryer in the kitchen. 2. Laundry/Dry Cleaning Service. 3. Daily Maid Service at just 10Euros per hour! The apartment has many pillows and also extra blankets for the colder season.. The furnishings are of good quality (leather/fabrics) and order and are replaced/updated on an on-going basis, we have also made many improvements for the 2014 season with new/additional furnishings and fresh accessories… There isn't a landline telephone but we can supply a local mobile gsm if required, usually most clients have their own mobile, purchase a local SIM-card or use their computer/PC for Skype calls etc. Ceiling fans are not necessary as this is a very modern building and has high-end Daikin Climatisation/Air-Conditiong in all rooms and an additional table top fan for use as necessary. There is an ice-maker in the kitchen freezer but many clients prefer to purchase pre-packed ice (1euro a bag) from the supermarket across the road.. The client was clearly advised about the minimal extra costs on "long term" bookings before and at arrival. (We do charge for electricity as some clients have been know run-up excessive bills leaving the a/c running with the doors open etc.) In this case the electric bill was just 90Euros for more than a months stay and was charged at less than the metered rate.. Bank charges were made from the bank not from us as transferring funds to/from Canada are more expensive. *More than Half of their deposit was returned and not a quarter as stated.. We did not ignore them and we dealt with every email in a timely efficient manner! Furthermore, we did not fabricate anything and we are not dishonest or untrustworthy as they have stated.. We have successfully hosted many happy holidaymakers for many years, please see our other references or feel free to contact us where we can provide further references…

Superbly located Marina Banus apartment

We found the apartment clean and well presented. The propert has magnificent views over the beach and mountainside, and is superbly well situated for an exploration of the Puerto Banus marina (where all the nightlife is located). The owner is responsive and friendly. Recommended.
