We were with 9 people (4 adults, 5 children) in the house - 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and spacious living room and open kitchen, it had plenty of space. The equipment corresponds to 100% of the photos, everything is very well maintained and furnished with attention to detail. The garden and the pool correspond exactly to the pictures, everything is very well laid out and maintained. Contact the Owner was very pleasant and went exclusively by mail, the answers always came very quickly and a small problem with the Internet has been solved promptly. In the house an information folder with several restaurant recommendations is available, but we did not try, we cooked in the well-equipped kitchens. The pool was cleaned regularly (morning), we have from the cleaning - noticed nothing - except the landscaped pool. All around a successful holiday in a great house - thank Gillian and Carlo, we'll be back!
Fantastic Italian Farmhouse accommodation in the most beautiful of Italian countryside. The pool area is lovely, as is the pool its self, couldn't wait for my early morning swim. The house has everything you could need for a relaxed holiday, Wi-Fi, Sky TV, air conditioning etc. Enjoyed visits to the local towns and restaurants, the beach Senigallia is a real Italian experience. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a family holiday or a holiday with friends, it is a real taste of Italy!!
We stayed here in July 2014 and had an amazing holiday. The location is stunning and the two close villages are traditional and beautiful. The house is great and was perfect for a family holiday. It is very well set out and decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. The owner was helpful and accommodating. I would definatly recommend and hope to return myself
This is a magnificent property, with a wonderful open-plan living room/kitchen/dining area. The property opens out onto a gorgeous view of Barbara with rolling hills.
The area has plenty to do within a 20 minute drive.
The pool area is well landscaped with a gazebo to keep out of the sun and to sit for some evening tapas.
Senigallia is a fairly short drive away and close enough for either a morning or afternoon excursion.
There are good local amenities for supermarkets, restaurants and takeaway/deli. The locals are all friendly with a real spirit of friendliness throughout the area.
We will definitely be returning to this stunning property.
Carlos was very helpful when a slight issue occurred which put us at ease.
We spent a lovely week at Casa San Pietro, which is a brilliant farmhouse restoration. The house is very well equipped, with a great pool and a games room where you can escape the midday sun if you wish. The views from the property are stunning and the surrounding villages and those slightly further afield, such as Corinaldo, are friendly and have some nice restaurants. The description of the property is spot on and Carlo was always happy to help with any query. Senigallia is a nice clean resort town with some good restaurants and only 20mins away by car. In short this is a fantastic place to spend a holiday; either relaxing, sightseeing or at the beach. We would certainly hope to return.
This is a superb farmhouse, with an excellent standard of furnishings, quality bathrooms and a high spec kitchen which is well equipped. The house is extremely clean, well looked after and feels like it has been furnished as a home, as opposed to just a holiday rental.
The location is unbeatable for a rural, quiet retreat and with some very picturesque villages close by, none of which appear to be on the tourist trail.
We would highly recommend for either couples or families and will plan on staying there again in the future.
We spent an unforgettable 2 weeks in Carlo’s house. We were total of 9 people (4 adults + 5 children) and there was plenty of space for all. The house is unbelievably beautiful and furnished with good taste. In the house there is everything you could wish for. The game room in the basement is extra luxury. Pool area is wonderful, pool is big and it’s good for swimming and for children to jump! Landscapes are incredible, like from a movie! The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. Nearby villages are beautiful and people are friendly.
In the nearby villages you can find some good restaurant’s; In Ostra Vetere good pizzeria “Lo Spiochio” (hopefully got it right) which is the old Pomodoro everyone is complementing in the guestbook and in Barbara Osteria “Castellaro”. Near Corinaldo you can find good sized grocerystore Coal. It’s much nearer than Cityper in Senigallia and much less crowded!
With Carlo everything worked smoothly. Carlo answered to all our questions quickly and friendly.
THANK YOU! Hopefully we’ll have a chance to get back to Casa san Pietro!
In the undiscovered area of Le Marche with its rolling hills and medieval villages( painted famously by prince Charles, who described it as one of THE most beautiful places in the world.) The farmhouse Lies between the villages of; Ostra Vetere, Corinaldo and Barbera where frequent festivals are held in the streets and houses, these vary from Halloween parties in Corinaldo to a January wine festival in Ostra Vetere, and many open-air music festivals. There are many superb quality vineyards and olive growers in the vicinity and all very welcoming.
Senigallia's velvet beach is within 20 minutes drive, with its fantastic restaurants (many on the beach itself) and stylish main shopping street, with local markets.
The Port of Ancona is within half an hour's drive and is one of the regions main city's with many places of interest, it also has ferry routes to; Greece and Croatia. Speedy Eurostar Trains travel to the eastern coast on the cross-country line arriving in Rome in just 3 hour.
