I am a very flexible and happy person. I enjoy the sea and water sports. Sailing is one of my favorites.I am at your service.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2000
Since the first time I went to the town of Fajardo I fell in love with the place specially with Marina Lanais condo. As soon as you open the studio entrance door you can see the sea and a few islands. You can actually hear the waves.Sleeping with that sound makes you feel calm and in contact with mother nature.
There is so many things to do around the condominium like if I want to have dinner there is my next door neighbor El Conquistador Hotel with 18 restaurants or go to the local restaurants walking distance with a lot of sea food and local 'alcapurrias and vacalaitos fritos' with pina colada. At night I can go to starbucks in the hotel, a little salsa dancing at the hotel disco. Or I can go to the Las Croabas Lagoon in Fajardo (3 minutes walk)has 500,000 to 700,000 of bioluminescent dinoflagellates ( a plankton) per gallon, so when you wave your hand through the water you trigger so many of them that your hand lights up with a thousand tiny stars. There are many companies that offer kayak trips into the bioluminescent lagoon from the small fishing village of Las Croabas. At day the Rain forest (15 minutes drive) is a must! or the Seven Seas Beach. Is a white sand public beach located 1 mile fron the condo. The clear shallow water is teeming with vibrant tropical fish and coral reefs and is protected by offshore reefs. Trade winds blow across the water.
Was a beautiful weekend. Thanks David Nieves. Your Studio is good to rent and the security 24 hours a day is priceless. Very friendly, very kind and always smiling. Is safety and is nice , you always need a key for the elevators access. The owner , David Nieves is a very plasent person. Very profesional . If you have plans to go to fajardo and have a beautiful sunny day. That's the place. Very near to the beach, water sport. Traveling to Culebras, Vieques and kajac . Relaxing and taste the local food ! Awesome!!
We truly enjoyed this unit. It was exactly as the pictures PLUS! The views are Fabolosas!! Would have put the bed in front of the balcony and forget the rest of the furniture!! :)
Walking distance to public marina, shops, restaurants, park. There is not a beach here. El Conquistador is not allowing non-hotel guest to visit Palomino island. You can go to public marina and ask for Don Julio for round trip personal boat transport to Icacos island which was AWESOME!
David was very informative, helpful and professional. Definitely coming back and staying there! Thank you David for everything!
Great work-vacation. I had a business meeting next door at the El Conquistador Hotel, is adjacent to the hotel and if you have a meeting there or friends staying there this is the place, one foot you are at the condo and the other in the hotel this is how close they are. This location was ideal for us as we were vacationing with family members who were staying at the adjacent El Conquistador and had business meeting there.
David's room has everything you need. The balcony view is breath taking. The best beach in the Fajardo area is called seven seas and is 1 mile from the condo. The 24 hours security is priceless. Is very safe to walk around the areas. They have walking distance great restaurants. David Is a excellent host. Ferry to Vieques and Culebra's island is 10 minutes away. The condo is nice and quiet.
I will start off by saying.....it was clean. BUT.....this place was no where near what we expected. We have been using vrbo for years, and this is the first time we didn't feel like we got what we were told. You are NOT adjacent to El Conquistador and you can NOT use any of their facilities. We did call and were turned down. The beaches do NOT look like his pictures. You must drive to the beach. Do not expect to walk out of the condo and go to beach. I would not feel comfortable letting my children walk around by themselves. We rented this for 8 days. Asked for a refund but was denied. So for 3 glorious days we went to Isabele, PR and had the time of our lives. So this vacation ended up costing us way more money, as we had to pay for another place to stay. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I know David can do nothing about this but Fajardo is not a romantic town. Stay either in Old San Juan or Isabele.
Very clean condo with a great location , view from the balcony is something you cannot missed . Very secure place , nice and quiet near a lot of activities . David the owner is very accommodating and a gentleman, so dont missed this place if you come to fajardo, this place is a must especially for the price, for quality- price that's the best place, thank's David and of course I'll be back next year
This was my 6th trip to PR. While in Fajardo I normally stay at Passion Fruit Inn; however, they went out of business before my arrival and I needed a new place to stay. I came on VRBO and David's place popped up. I loved the location, the pictures, and even more, the prices. David gave me an awesome price deal when I agreed to stay a whole 7 days. The pictures advertised are exactly what the property looks like, even though I didn't get the hammock, which was not a big deal. David met me at the apartment, gave me a tour of the place, and was kind and gracious enough to let me know that I could call him at any time if I had any questions or needed any help. And trust me, I did, because there is nothing better than having a local tell you where to go, what to do, and thanks to him, I did stuff that I had no clue to look for in previous trips. David even showed me a 2nd option for rent in the event I wanted to try something different, which is located on a little island(I forgot the name) that you can actually see the high-rise building from his balcony by the El Conquistador. The place is beautiful! I plan on renting it out in the forseeable future :)
David's place was perfect for me as a female traveling on my own. Security was there 24 hours a day, very friendly, very kind, always smiling and saying hello. I like that there is also a required key for elevator access. I felt very very safe out here, safe enough to go and venture out solo at night to eat out. I would recommend this place. I always slept with the balcony doors open. The sound of the ocean as I fall asleep and first thing I hear when I wake up, and getting to watch the sunrise while still glued to the bed in my pajamas: PRICELESS. If you love to cook, Walmart is not too far out, you can get groceries and stock the fridge. If not, there are many options for eating out. For all the restaurants and kiosks nearby, I would just walk. It was always crowded with people, so I never once did not feel safe. Also, you can drive towards the Marina for more restaurant options. Things I did in the area: flew to Culebra, El Yunque, scuba diving, snorkeling, bioluminescent tours, lighthouse tours, beach bum, hanging with locals etc.
The only one thing I did not care for were some crazy ants that love sugar. Keep the sugar off the counter where the coffee pot is. You will find an army of them swarming anything sweet/food. And always wipe the counter. That way you will have zero issues with the crazy ants.
Dining, Spa, golf, bioluminicent bay walking distance from the condominium and locals restaurants.
