This is a new development built and furnished to a very high standard. It is situated in a very nice area in Vilamoura known as 'The Old Village'. The property is located beside Pinhal golf course and The Four Seasons, which is very popular with golfers and families alike. Within 'The Old Village' there are some very nice restaurants, snack/bars, supermarket and a very cosy local pub/bar with evening entertainment, and internet access. It is very close to Europe’s largest Marina with an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. There are five 18 hole golf courses nearby, two beautiful beaches, various other sports and water sports/parks enjoyed by all ages!! The property comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, Double bedroom, living room with dining area & double sofa bed. There is also a lovely balcony overlooking the private pool and a staircase leading to a private roof garden with lovely views, complete with sun lounger’s, table & chairs .

We really enjoyed our stay in this fantastic apartment. It is very well equipped and in easy reach of the marina and the many golf courses in the area. The Old Village makes a nice change from the centre of Vilamoura and is very pretty and relaxed with a couple of bars and 4 or 5 restaurants. The interior is really good, clean and comfortable but the standout was the outside space. The balcony is a very good, overlooking the lovely communal gardens and pool and shade until late afternoon (very welcome as the temparature rose to 34c in mid September). However, if you like it hot, the roof terrace gives all day sun and great views of the sunrise and sunset.
I won’t say more as I will only be repeating the other great, accurate reviews, but would just highlight what a fantastic bloke Brian was to deal with!

This apartment is very nice we stayed there for 10 days.It is well kept fantastic roof terrace plenty of room. Brian was very helpful and friendly when we booked it has a nice little pool on the complex. The restaurants on the old village were reasonable its about 15-20 minutes walk to the marina and beach or you can go on the train that stops at the three seasons hotel. We will recommend this apartment to friends and family.
This apartment is very comfortable and located in a lovely part of The Old Village. Brian was most helpful when we were making the booking. Lovely and clean with a great balcony. Everything was perfect for our stay. The apartment looks out over a pool and green area. Located about 15-20 minutes of a walk (well we do walk quick) from the Marina so it is really central to restaurants and shops.
There were quite a few Scottish people staying in The Old Village whilst we were there because Scotland were playing in the qualifier's for Euro 16 so there was a lot of craic.
Overall, we found this apartment to be really great and would have no reservation in recommending to anyone.
This is a wonderful,spacious,clean and well maintained apartment.Located in the Old Village Prestige complex,opposite the Four Seasons Hotel,beside one of the many golf courses,it is a third floor apartment with a lovely sunny balcony from midday until sunset and also boasts a rooftop terrace,equipped with sunbeds, for sunbathing.
The apartment has everything you would need for a most comfortable stay-furnishings are modern,kitchen well equipped, a multitude of tv channels. The balcony overlooks a small and shallow swimming pool-its usually very quiet as most children tend to go to the other two pools in the complex-a swim is certainly possible though.
The complex has 3 restaurants - the best one being Casa du Largo in my opinion- Jaffers supermarket and also the Buccaneer pub with its regular Happy Hours.
It is about a 12/15 minute walk to the Marina using the shortcut through the park.The holiday train runs from the Four Seasons but is now 5 euro per adult - a bit expensive I thought.
The owner of the apartment was at all times very helpful and informative about the whole area.He kept in regular contact via email.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this apartment for a very enjoyable holiday in Vilamoura - be it for the sun and beach, golf or whatever!
A fabulous apartment located in the Old Village Prestige. The apartment is exactly as shown in all the photos with all the accessories you could wish for plus, as others describe, this 2nd floor apartment has the added benefit of a large roof terrace with good views.
On arrival everything was spotless with a plentiful supply of towels
The location means no car necessary as the the Old Village has a good selection of bars and restaurants and the marina area is within a 10-15 mins easy walk (only the hill alongside Pinhal Golf Course from the bottom of the road to the Old Village) or if required a taxi to the marina only costs EUR 5..
We had never booked direct through an owner previously, but dealing with Brian was straightforward and was/is a very pleasant experience.
I am submitting this review in Jan 2014 as we have stayed again in this apartment over Xmas and have already booked again for 2014 what more can I say.
Fantastic modern apartment
This apartment ticks all the boxes for an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay while on holiday in Vilamoura. It is located in The Old Village which is a lovelycomplex with great facilities including three swimming pools, supermarket, restaurants and bars.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The furnishings are decor are modern and fresh. The air-con is an added bonus especially since we visitied mid July! Brian organsied a travel cot for our fifteen month old son which was great. The apartment is top floor (third floor)and benefits from a fantastic roof terrace and balcony area. The apartment is equipped with all mod cons inclduing cable TV with large selection of channels.
The tourist train stops across the road from this apartment at the Four Seasons hotel and it runs a regualr service to Vilamoura Marina, great for families with young kids. Vilamoura Marina is bustling with a large selection of fine restaurants and bars.
Brian was easy to deal with and our booking and rental went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a rental in the Vilamoura area. We hope tovisit again soon.
It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the Marina with it's beautiful yachts, restaurants and shops. You will also find the nearby blue flag Falesia beach. There are various water parks and the renowned Zoomarine where you can swim with the dolphins. There are five 18hole championship courses in Vilamoura. In 'The Old Village' there is a wonderful Michelin star restaurant known as 'Willies' which we would HIGHLY recommend for that special occasion. Eating out- ALL tastes (& pockets) are catered for. Likewise, Nightlife accommodates all tastes and ages. Locally there is a top rate fitness centre which can be used on a daily rate! And for anybody into the 'MARKET' scene there is a really good one in the nearby town of Quarteira on Wednesday mornings. A visit to the nearby town of Loule is a must, even if only to ramble the narrow cobbled shopping streets. And for the shoppers, there is ALGARVE SHOPPING, 15KLMS, Portugal’s largest shopping centre, well worth a visit.
