Self-catering 2-bed on ground floor with amazing sea-views

Amarilla Bay is situated on the coast at the southernmost tip of Tenerife on the outskirts of the peaceful town of Costa Del Silencio.

A beautiful 2-bedroomed apartment is available on the ground floor with incredible sea-views. The apartment is maintained to the highest standard by the owner and is fully-fitted with everything that you might require to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable including quality furnishings, air-conditioning and WiFi.

You can sit on the terrace or in the beautiful lounge and stare for hours at the sea right in front of you...so close that you can actually hear and smell it. The sunrise and sunsets are particularly spell-binding...and if you get up early, you may be lucky enough to see pods of wild dolphins playing in the bay.

The private walkway in front of the apartment is rarely used as there is another path closer to the sea so you are not disturbed as you sit and relax on the terrace.

The american-style kitchen is small, but fully-fitted with a full oven, electric hob, fridge freezer, microwave etc. should you choose to cook during your stay.

The main bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. The second bedroom has twin beds that can be pulled together if required. Both bedrooms have very comfortable mattresses and ceiling fans.

The Resort itself is very peaceful and has a supermarket, bar, mature gardens and communal swimming pool on-site. It is within easy walking distance of all the local amenities. If you don't wish to drive to explore the island, the local bus service is extremely good, cheap and easy to use. The nearest bus stop is only a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

If you are looking for a more relaxing holiday with fantastic views in a peaceful area of southern Tenerife (away from the 'madding crowd') then Amarilla Bay is the place for you!

I lived and worked in Tenerife for 18-years before moving back to the UK where I currently reside. I visit the Island several times a year to visit my friends and ensure that my apartment is very well-maintained.

I can offer lots of advice on things to see and do whilst you are on holiday and Linda, the lady who looks after my apartment, is only ever a phone-call away should you need anything during your stay. She is very helpful and fluent in both English and Spanish.

Amarilla Bay is situated on the sea-front in the quiet, friendly town of Costa Del Silencio. The area is very popular with the older generation of ex-pats and holiday-makers because it is smaller and more laid-back than the main resorts of Las Americas / Los Cristiano's but still has many small bars, shops supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The nearest larger town is Las Galletas, which is a bustling, quaint, Spanish seaside resort. You can stroll there in half an hour, or be there in 5 minutes by car / taxi or bus.

Perfect Winter getaway

My partner and I stayed here for 7 days last December with another couple, the apartment was beautifully furnished and had everything you could ever need on holiday,

The owner was helpful from the start to finish of the booking, and I felt confident that she would have been there to help if we needed it during our stay.

The bay itself was quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. The neighbour's were very friendly and made us very welcome!

There were regular buses passing the bus stop which was situated just a few hundred yards up the road from the apartment which was great,

The local supermarkets were walking distance and there was a variety of restaurants and cafes to walk to also.

Overall the holiday was perfect and I would recommend the apartment to future holiday makers, I will definitely be staying again soon,

Fantastic Gem of an Apartment

Stayed at this apartment for 11 days and had a fantastic time in an amazing apartment. Getting the keys etc. was as easy as described and the people in neighbouring apartments were very sociable and very kind. The property was very clean and there was plenty of spare towels, linen etc. The kitchen had all the facilities imaginable giving the open plan area to the living space a casual atmosphere. The Chill Out Bar is 50 yards away and the people currently running it are welcoming and helpful (we visited every night for a night cap!!)

The whole apartment is a credit to Victoria and we would most certainly want to stay many more times in the future. The furnishings are very classy and it is obvious that she has invested a lot of time and money into creating such a wonderful property.

The only negative is that it is such a good apartment in such a good position that more people will book and we may not be able to get the dates we want!!

A Fantastic Apartment

An excellent apartment with stunning views of the Atlantic. We stayed here in July 2017. The apartment is clean and comfortable and has everything needed for a self catering holiday. It is on the sea front - where you can relax on the terrace and listen to the ocean. It is just a short walk away from bars and restaurants and supermarkets. There is also the Chill Out bar which is on the next block if you don't want to venture far.

The apartment owner is extremely helpful and will answer any questions you have regarding the apartment. The neighbours on the complex are also friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this apartment as it is suitable for 4 people, even though just myself and partner stayed here. We liked it so much that we hope to return next year.

just the quiet & relaxing break we were hoping for

the picture from the web-site (looking out over the terrace to the sea) perfectly captures the mood of this apartment; it feels as if it is at the very southern-tip of the island (and possibly is), is not overlooked by any other dwelling, and has limited number of passing walkers (no cars) who are at least 25m away. So if u want peace and quiet, away from the razzmatazz that accompanies the 300+ room hotels, then this is the place - early morning on the terrace with cuppa and book watching the sun rise in front of you was a particular pleasure

The apt itself had all that was promised and all we needed, the décor tasteful, and was clean and well-maintained; though we chose to eat out, the kitchen appeared to have all that was reqd to be self-catering. The small rechargeable router was more than sufficient to be able to graze on emails and internet, don't need more than that on holiday I believe. Our dealings with Victoria (owner) were a pleasure - detailed and prompt responses

This is not a beach-lovers paradise, there is no proper beach tho' a walk of 200 yards leads to a rocky area where one can sunbathe, and with ladders to allow entry to the sea - quite rough (so take care) and certainly bracing. Remember to take snorkel-gear as the presence of divers suggests the underwater world is worth a watch. There is also a communal swimming pool available

Activities - we walked the coastal path to Los Abrigos (5-6miles?), very enjoyable, not too taxing but a rocky path; also used public transport a lot - excellent service and cheap. Day out to Los Gigantes recommended (including a boat trip to see whales and dolphins), and a walk from Costa Adeje to Los Cristianos along the promenade (which confirmed for us the wisdom of our choice of apartment)

In terms of food and drink, there is a small café/bar Flicks less than 100 yds from the apartment - English run and all very friendly, though we only used (regularly) for snacks and drinks; also a small bar with snacks at the beach-area. Other than that it is a 10-15-min minimum stroll to any of the various areas where there are restaurants, with Las Galletas prob 30 mins away - but that suited us, pleasant early evening stroll to dinner (be aware of moderately steep slope from apt to main road) . 2 restaurants we would recommend - Le Grand Bleu (French Fusion) on the promenade in Las Galletas, and La Penca Tinta (real home made Italian cooking) in C.del Silencio

Quiet and relaxing

Fantastic location with stunning views of the bay and mountain.Good instructions on how to get there etc.Apartment itself is very comfortable and has some impressive furnishings.It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.Pool area was quiet most days.We used the chillout bar regularly .Krystyan the new owner is very friendly and the prices are really cheap.We recommend Blueberry kick smoothies whilst looking acroo the bay.The only negative is the resort itself which has not much to offer but fortunately we went to relax and the apartment ensured we did.

Excellent!

I have nothing but good things to say about Victoria's apartment. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and wonderfully appointed. It is in a quiet, peaceful location a few minutes walk from an incredible 'beach bar' and right beside a friendly, inexpensive little restaurant. No sandy beach but the pool is so clean and uncrowded and quiet you'll totally relax. It has everything you need for a great stay and is by far the nicest holiday apartment I have stayed in.
