About Teresa Denham
I designed the floor plan for this 2500sq ft home. We built this home 4 yrs ago. I did all the tiling & hardwood in the home. Also painted every wall, stained & varnished all the woodwork.

We bought the 14 acres 8yrs ago we camped with friends for 3yrs then spent a yr building.This property was owned by my Great grandparents, then of course went through all the generations. If you are looking for a relaxed, serene weekend or week. This is the perfect place.
What makes this Estate unique
I've always enjoyed nature, the woods & the water, so you can enjoy that sitting inside or sitting on the front porch. Even if it's raining there are 8ft overhangs to able to sit outside. When we built the lake it was a 29ft ravine. The lake is 18ft deep in the middle & 10ft deep off the dock. The dock is 20x20ft. There are 3 camping spots with electricity & water behind the home.

Our extended family loved this property for our annual getaway. The pond is beautiful, the location private, and the home wonderful. Terry, the owner, met us and even baked for us! She gave a great but concise overview on our arrival of everything we would need to know (grill, wifi, etc). The pond is great for fishing. The dock is fabulous. We swam and floated every day. The home has life jackets and flotation devices, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, everything you would want to enjoy the water. I do feel compelled to give one critique - the mattresses in the second and third (not master) bedroom are in need of replacement. They were very uncomfortable, one leaned to the middle, the other off to a side. We found it difficult to get good sleep, and unfortunately that does make for a less relaxing getaway. If the mattresses were updated, we would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you didn't get a very good nights sleep. I will take in consideration & change the mattresses out. After this fall the house will not be rented out any longer. As I will be in Italy next year. I have thoroughly enjoyed all my guests that I've had stay at my house the last 4yrs. And hope the best for all & their travels.

The four of us enjoyed our stay very much at Half Moon Bay. Our granddaughter love to go fishing and did catch some nice bass and bluegills! It was very relaxing to have "room" to move around rather than is a cramped hotel room. The weather was perfect for November--we could go outside with just tee shirts during the day and a light covering for the evening. I hope we can stay there again.

Great Autumn Weekend Retreat!

Our family of five had a very enjoyable autumn weekend here. We loved the privacy and relaxing atmosphere this property provided. Our teenage girls had a great time using the paddle boat on the large pond. We did not travel the area because we were just looking for a relaxing place to spend time as a family and enjoy the autumn colors. The owner was very nice and a pleasure to work with during our stay. She was located only a few minutes away and was very easy to reach by telephone or text when we had a few questions. There is a small but nicely stocked grocery store less than 5 minutes away which is very convenient. We really enjoyed the fire pit near the house both nights we stayed roasting hotdogs and making smores with the kids.
We would definitely return again and hope to possibly do so again sometime next year.
