About Sarah D'Ardenne
I love hosting travellers to Brisbane. Sometimes I have hosted other Brisbanites who just want an escape in the inner city near all of the dining and shopping for a couple of nights. We have this flat so my parents can stay near us on their holidays as I also live in the complex, but in a different building.
Sarah D'Ardenne purchased this Apartment in 2018
Why Sarah D'Ardenne chose Newstead
I bought another unit within The Newstead Series and am passionate about living here. I love the shared amenities and it is very easy to relax and enjoy the perfect Brisbane weather all year.
What makes this Apartment unique
It is so close to all of the shops, you rarely need a car or even public transport unless you are going into the very city centre or further out of town. Being so close to the city, we also have the option to order-in delivery from hundreds of restaurants--even late night gelato!!
100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
Very smart spacious flat, fabulously provisioned.
We really enjoyed our time here. Sarah met us and lives in the block, so I’m sure would have been quick to help if we’d needed her. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops around. About 10 minutes to walk to train station then only a few stops to CBD, or 10 mins walk to ferry-cat, which took nearly an hour to get to South Bank. Buses might be best.
Very comfortable beds, sofa and chairs out on the balcony. Great showers. V good wifi, TV with Chrome-cast, an amazing larder if we’d wanted to cook, and a pint of milk for a cup of tea on arrival - what more could anyone ask??
Thank you Sarah!
Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Ideal location. Shops and restaurants close by. Host very accommodating and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
With just a short, 100 m walk to the riverwalk along Mariners Reach and Waterfront place, 300 meters to the Gasworks shopping, Haven dining precinct, and James Street fashion central, there is little to be left desired. There is a chemist, doctor, grocery store, butcher, fishmongerer, cafe, several restaurants, newsagent, dry cleaner, ATM and bottleshop within the Gasworks. In Haven dining precinct, there are 7 restaurants. Just across the road is a coffee shop in the Woodsters building, a restaurant called Rogue Bistro with excellent reviews, and around the corner a brewery with killer pizza on Byres Street called Range Brewing.
