Beautiful spacious 1 bedroom apartment with wonderful sea views.

This self catering apartment facing the ocean overlooking the promenade and landscaped gardens, is in a excellent location, for your holiday rental, relaxing, beautiful sea views. Situated on the popular Estrada Monumental, where many 5 star hotels and restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket, banks, taxi ranks, bus stop, all within a few minutes walk. The centre of Funchal is a 5-10min ride by bus/ taxi. Or a pleasant walk along the promenade for about 25 minutes. There is a coastal promenade adjacent to the apartment complex, which also gives access to natural rock pools and two swimming complex's. Also, there is a new health club, with indoor swim/pool, sauna, Turkish bath, gym, tennis court, etc close by. The apartment faces seawards and with its 7th floor location enjoys beautiful sea views. Furnished to a very high standard. Fully equipped for your every need. We are there to add that personal touch, and greet you on your arrival, and to insure you have a relaxing holiday.

On your arrival: On your arrival we can arrange for transport to and from the airport to the apartment for you, we have a father and son taxi driver's who we have used for many years, and are friendly and very reliable, and speak very good English. They will collect you from the airport and take you to the apartment where we will be there to greet you and show you around the apartment, and to answer any questions you may have. There will be a welcome pack for you on arrival also.

If you should need any extra help or advice on anything, we would pleased to help.

The apartment is very central, with good transport available close by, but if you should wish to hire a car, there is a underground parking space available in the building.

Golfers- We are pleased to be able to offer a 30% discount on green fees at Palherio Course.

On your departure: On your departure we will return to the apartment to bid you farewell, and to ensure you have had a good holiday. Time of departure from the apartment on the day is flexible, depending on the time of new arrival's. The usual time of departure is 10am, but luggage can be left until your departure to the airport.

We loved the apartment thanks, so comfortable and modern and perfect for the bus/walks/shops etc. Had great weather all week, one or two day were a bit air/breeze less so were loving the big fan!

Really liked Funchal too... ate some great food.We also did tour of the East and the walls along the front you recommended a few times and saw a concert in the park in the town. A nice relaxing holiday and we'd love to come back again sometime. Thanks again for the welcome and all the info and for having everything we'd ever need in the apartment! Kind Regards. Ramsey.

We supply all linen and towels, plus beach towels, hairdryer, electric fan. Weekly change of the beds and towels and cleaning of the apartment. The total floor area of the apartment is a generous 86 sq. mtrs and comprises of one large double room with fitted wardrobes, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge/diner, and balcony. The lounge/diner, kitchen and bedroom all have sea views. The furnishings of the apartment are very comfortable and to a very high standard. The lounge/diner has a large panoramic window and is furnished with a comfortable 3 -seater sofa, two side tables, TV/DVD/CD player, dining room table and 4 chairs. The kitchen has fitted units, hob with extractor fan, an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. Airer for drying. Iron and ironing board. Excellent Apartment

Very comfortable spacious modern well equipped apartment, everything you need and more for a self catering holiday.

Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the sea views.

Welcome pack provided by owners Marie and Adrian was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. Location was ideal, 20 minutes walk to centre of Funchal

Shopping centre across the road with supermarket, taxi rank and bus stop at hand. Perfect apartment , we hope to return.

Luxury apartment with a sea view

This was our third visit to this lovely spacious and bright apartment. It is easily accessible from the airport as the ‘Aerobus’ passes the apartment.

Lots of shops and eateries close by, with a well stocked supermarket at the Forum shopping centre across the road. A pleasant 25 minute walk takes you to the centre of Funchal following the promenade for part of the way.

The owners, Marie and Adrian, are very friendly and approachable, and the welcome pack is always much appreciated.

We look forward to our next visit.

What a Lovely Holiday Apartment

Liz, and I have stayed at this apartment three times, and will be booking for 2018. It is close to all amenities ,and the apartment is well equipped for short or long stays. The shopping centre is just across the road ( Forum) plenty of good places to eat within walking distance or just get the bus to Funchal.

Great Holiday

Holiday started off very well when we were met at the airport by Manuel, a very jovial taxi driver, organised for us by Rosemarie, the apartments owner. On arrival at the apartment we were met by Rosemarie and Adrian who showed us around, and what we saw did not disappoint, the apartment was immaculate, very clean and comfortable, the bedroom spacious and had no problem sleeping in the bed which I usually do when I am on holiday, the kitchen was ideal with everything you require not only that Rosemarie had left water, butter, milk, tea, coffee and fresh rolls. The apartment is very well situated, across the road is a shopping centre with a large supermarket, the other side of the apartment is a road with a choice of restaurants, Chinese , Indian, Portuguese within a couple of minutes of apartment. To sum it up, in all my holidays of self catering this is by far the cleanest, best equipped, well maintained, very well situated apartment I have rented and would definitely go back, hopefully next year, also Rosemarie was a gem, I would definitely recommend this property to friends or relative, in fact I already have. Superb apartment with lovely views

One of the best apartments we have stayed in. Very clean, modern and comfortable with every thing you need for a great, relaxing holiday. Rose Marie is a great host and was there to meet us even though our flight had been delayed. Very helpful and welcome pack was a bonus. Great area and even though slightly out of the centre it's not a problem as bus stop outside which is very easy to use or you can take a leisurely stroll along the promanade and stop at the many lovely cafes. Would definitely recommend this apartment and look forward to returning. Thanks again Rose Marie.

There is a new shopping centre close by, with 100 shops, restaurants, large supermarket, 7 screen cinema, showing latest English films. Internet cafes with easy access if needed. Lovely restaurants of all kinds. Portuguese, wonderful fish, Italian, Spanish, Indian, Chinese, Japanese. Beautiful leveda walks, cable car with spectacular views taking you to exotic gardens. Whale & Dolphin trips, sunset cruises, big game fishing. Take a tour to the top of the island, & look down on the clouds below you. Horse riding in the mountains. Diving, & lessons. Two fantastic & challenging golf courses. Or if you just want to relax, enjoy the sun & good food, this is the place

The rate 364 pounds per week is for 2 people for the apartment.Depending on availability and period. A deposit of 25% ( not refundable) is required on booking, and balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure.
Our change over days are normally Monday's, If possible we can be flexible on changeover day,please enquire if different day needed.
Please Note- Homeaway will charge you a service fee of approximately 9% if you book or pay-on-line. This is purely their service fee, we are also charged 3% as the owner. However, if you should wish to pay by bank transfer to my account in the UK for Sterling or Euro account UK, and not incur this fee. You can telephone or text me on 00 351 933707358, to discuss this matter or anything else.The choice is yours.
(The site has put no refund's) BUT cancellations/ refunds are at the discretion of the owner, and if able to re-book the period, full refund with will be issued.
My Terms of rental- Apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure. Luggage may be left in the apartment until departure to the airport.
It would be greatly appreciated if, on departure you would leave the apartment clean and tidy.
Any damages -must be paid for before leaving the apartment.
