Great location half way between Durango and purgatory resort. Well equipped kitchen for cooking. Comfortable accommodation with everything that you could need. Enjoyed the quiet location, available coin laundry and fitness centre on site.
The condo is a great value, sits on a wonderful view, is well appointed and decorated, and has all of the kitchen tools and amenities one may need.
The only downsides were that there were children in the condo upstairs, whose floor jets into this condo by about 50%. The condo's ceiling is their floor and there is a shared wall going up to the ceiling. The children were loud starting at 5:30am 2 of our 4 mornings. And loud pounding footsteps could also be heard.
The 2nd improvement would be to the hot water pressure. The water was hot enough, just the flow is merely a trickle in the warm to hot positions.
We would probably stay there again....especially without the upstairs neighbors.
This is our 2nd stay which says how much we enjoyed our experience last Dec. The Xmas decor is a treat, the bed is so comfortable that we already miss it, LOVE the fireplace, the view from the balcony and from the front is unbeatable. We appreciate the various seating areas, large bathroom, full kitchen and double closet storage. Super easy to work with Kay.
This Tammaron condo was the perfect lodging for our October Durango get-away. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with 360 degree views; and very quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy spectacular autumn color without ever leaving the property. The condo is well appointed and charming, with a very comfortable bed! Situated just north of Durango, the location is ideal for a day trip along the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton, and on to Ouray. We hope to come back during the summer!
My wife and I have been to Durango quite a few times and our stay last week was a perfect get-away! The condo was just as described by other reviewers. Everything we needed and then some. We were especially impressed with how clean the condo was when we arrived! Very important to us.
We had great weather, especially after the summer in Arizona. It was so nice feeling the cool breeze through the open sliding glass door when we slept. We saw deer every night and the surroundings are just beautiful! Thank-you Kay for a great three nights!

Comfortable king size bed. Well appointed condo (including dehumidifier and electric grill). Resort staff was friendly and helpful. Communication with owner was excellent. The hot water pressure was a little weak, but this seemed to be the case in every place we stayed, from Durango to Telluride. Wonderful cliffside location. Our first impression was that the location, 15 miles north of Durango, would be inconvenient and we almost opted for staying in town. I'm glad we didn't. Later in our vacation we stayed 3 nights in Durango proper and found the offerings to be much more expensive for much less nice of a place. The 15 miles to town was an easy drive. Also, if you're catching the train to Soaring Tree Top Adventures, the Rockwood Depot is only 5 minutes away. Catching the train at Rockwood (instead of downtown Durango) cuts out the relatively boring portion of the train ride, which is over an hour long.
