We had a wonderful stay at this property. Definitely need a bike or cart to carry stuff to beach. Only complaint was the heat. The property was very clean, comfortable, and fun for us and our two teenagers.
Wonderful vacation stay!
Loved it! Great location, not too far from the beach path, loved the community pool and lovely neighborhood with lights on the streets at night so we can walk around. Close to bike paths.
Location was great considering we didn’t have a clue. Really enjoyable vacation and location.
Great location and nice amenities.
The outside shower did not work and a hose would have been nice for washing off after beach. Also, I wished there was a grill available for use. Otherwise we had a great time.
The house was clean and homey. Plenty of room for the family. Easy walk to the beach. Loved the stay
Using the code to go in and out of house, you never had to worry about losing a key on the beach. It was a great experience.
Great respite from a cold spring!
Beautiful area and terrific amenities! Stayed a week and wanted to stay a month. Dogs loved being able to walk on the beaches. Super friendly people, bike paths were awesome and will definitely be back.
Hilton Head offers over twelve miles of gorgeous beach. Our home is located in the middle of the most desirable mile. The nearest public access (Forest Beach at Coligny Circle) is over a mile to the north. The nearest hotel is a mile to the south. In between those two points the majority of homes are single-family units. The multi-story villas and apartments available for rent are adjacent to Forest Beach.
What all of this means is that very few people have easy access to the long, wide and beautiful section of beach in front of Night Heron. You will appreciate the privacy and available space to put your beach chair and relax. And it is only a seven-minute walk (2/10 mile) on your private path to the dunes.
“Just Imagine” at Night Heron is a free standing home shaded by towering Long Needle and Loblolly Pines. All landscaping is natural with fan-like Saw Palmettos, Cabbage Palms, and native grasses with ancient Live Oaks draped with a profusion of Spanish moss.
Golf: Sea Pines Golf is Legendary:
Hilton Head Island is ten miles long and boasts twenty-nine golf courses. Among this dazzling array of choices, The Sea Pines Resort is the most prestigious and well known. It is home to the world famous “Harbourtown Golf Links”, rated #1 in South Carolina, and among the nation’s top 100. Harbourtown, with its famous lighthouse towering over the eighteenth green, has hosted the Heritage Golf Tournament for the past 36 years.
A challenge for the likes of Nicklaus, Palmer, and Norman it is but one of three exceptional courses within the resort. You can also experience the new “Heron Point” redesign by Pete Dye with its challenging greens, and emphasis on strategy.
The Sea Pines “Ocean Course” is also a favorite of residents and visitors alike. As a guest at “Just Imagine” you’ll be able to make advance reservations to play any, or all three, of the Sea Pines courses
