Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Home With An Amazing View Of Pikes Peak

If you're looking for a quiet, roomy home with the most amazing view of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, look no further. Breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, the Garden of the Gods and the front range of Colorado... it is spectacular. The hot tub on the deck is probably one of the most wonderful hot tub experiences you'll have in your life. Old Colorado City and the Garden of the Gods are within walking distance. Some of the many attractions within just a few miles are Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, historical downtown Colorado Springs, the Cog Railway, Barr Trail, the Air Force Academy, the Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, the Broadmoor Hotel, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the New Santa Fe hiking/biking trail. If you stay for three days or more, I'll be glad to personally guide you into the Crags of Pikes Peak hiking area (very easy hike) or show you the way to a back trail to climb Pikes Peak which is very difficult requiring excellent fitness. I also have two bicycles that you can use and will be glad to direct you to some amazing bike paths. I have a canoe, but require that you've had some kind of certifiable course training for safety reasons. We can discuss in person.

Notes:
Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the Cog Railway, Cave of the Winds, The Cliff Dwellings, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, downtown Colorado Springs, the Broadmoor, Barr Trail, The New Santa Fe Trail for hiking biking are all very close to my house and just a few minutes away.

Great Stay, loved the house, host was the best.

The host Tim was very friendly and helpful, went the extra mile on everything. Bought us some breakfast items for when we arrived. Loved the location, amenities, close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Very quiet area. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Played pool and ping pong also. The hot tub was an added extra. The view was fantastic. Thanks Tim for a great experience!!

Perfect experience!!!

The property was gorgeous and Tim took great steps to personalize our experience. This was the best outcome for a vacation and we definitely plan on returning. Couldn’t have been better!

I have to say, this was the most perfect weekend getaway. It was such a pleasure having Tim as our host. He was there upon arriving to give us a warm welcome along with a full tour of his home. His home is the definition of cozy. Not only is the hot tub a huge bonus, but his game room/garage is exactly what my inner child needed for an entertaining weekend. Tim’s home is the best of both worlds. If you’re looking to relax, amazing. If you’re looking for some fun, equally amazing. I honestly don’t think there could’ve been a better location for us to stay. We had the privacy we needed, but also the convenience of local restaurants, parks, malls, etc. very close by.

If you choose to stay in Tim’s home, just trust that you will absolutely not regret it.

Perfect Host-Beautiful home

The reviews that have been posted are soooo true. The location of the house is so spot on, everything we wanted to do was only minutes away. There is no way to describe the views in words, it was awesome. I am a salt water junky (ocean please), but this was close to changing my mind. Tim, was beyond hospitable, the love of his home shows in every detail. The house was immaculate. Everything you would need, is there. All the spices, seasoning and extras Tim has provided. He contacted me ahead of our arrival to find out little things about myself and family so he could go the extra mile, he even provided the groceries for our first breakfast in his home. Beds were comfortable. Deck view is amazing. The hot tub is perfect. (Tim even provides plush robes) The game room we all enjoyed tremendously. I have already informed Tim that we will be back! Perfect Host-Perfect home.

The most perfect home away from home

We had the most amazing week in Colorado Springs! Six lifelong girlfriends celebrating our 60th birthday year together and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The breathtaking views every single morning with coffee and relaxing in the hot tub was perfect! Tim was an excellent host. His genuine warmth and attention to detail resulted in the coziest home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for more! Thanks Tim for a lifelong memory! We didn’t want to leave!

Hello! My name is Tim Hobson and I'm a Colorado native born and raised in Colorado. I've been in Colorado Springs since 1988 working as an IT Project Manager for 30 years. I've finally decided to break away from the life in a cubical and go back to my love of working with customers. I was a llama / fishing outfitter/guide back in the early 90's. I have backpacked and camped all over Colorado. My main goal is to insure you have a wonderful time when you come to stay in my home. You just can't beat the view from my back deck. I've had many people visit my home and are 'jaw dropped' when they walk out onto my back deck. It really is spectacular. The sunrises and sunsets are soothing to the soul. The hot tub experience is magical. You just won't believe how beautiful it is. Watching the sun go down over Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods and then star gazing into the night is an experience of a lifetime. Of course, location is everything when you come to Colorado Springs. My home is in the heart of so many wonderful attractions.

What makes this house unique

1) Free hiking/biking/fishing guide (me!)

2) Centrally located in the middle of many of the tourist attractions in the area that make the city of Colorado Springs famous.

2) Game room in the garage including ping pong and pool

3) Wildlife come right into the yard.

4) An old, lovely grand piano that sounds wonderful in the sun room.

5) Over 40 board games in the collections (so far). If you have a game you like to play and I don't have it, I'll get it! It's just another addition to my collection of games in the house.

6) One of the most amazing views in Colorado Springs. I've had many friends of mine who are Colorado Springs natives that are stunned to see that I have such an amazing view. The first thing people say when they walk onto the deck is, "Wow... this is amazing." Come see for yourself.

The Air Force Academy is 14 miles away. The football games are great! Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Broadmoor Hotel are located near each other and are about 7 miles. The Broadmoor Hotel is a historical site open to the public. There is a wonderful lake and views including restaurants and bars. You can sit and have a drink and soak in the atmosphere of a 5 star hotel (but then come back and hang out at the most amazing spot Colorado Springs... the back deck). The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is fantastic. It's one of the best zoos in the country. The entrance to the Pikes Peak Highway is about 11 miles. It's another 19 to drive to the top. All of these attractions can be found via the web on a variety of websites. Last, but not least, my house is at the gateway to the Rocky Mountains. I'll be glad to help steer you in the right direction for site seeing, hiking, biking, fishing and many other recreational activities. Bottom line: My home is centrally located to many wonderful attractions and I'll make sure you have a wonderful time during your visit. Note: If you stay for three days or more, I'll be glad to take you on a guided walk into the Crags area on the north-west slope of Pikes Peak. It's a very beautiful area and the hike is easy. We can discuss all of your needs and interests over the phone when you call.
