Great home..Great Hosts
Impeccable property, all updated, clean, beautiful views. Great host, Kris was always available to answer any questions or requests.
House was clean and recently renovated.
In town for Jr. Olympics
I booked this property for our travel to Greensboro for the Jr. Olympics where my son was competing. I booked this house for 5 nights. My reason for booking a house rather than a hotel was because my son has severe food allergies, and we need a kitchen to cook his meals. When I booked this property, I thought I was booking an entire house because the listing states "Beautiful Greensboro Home on 24 acres. Just outside city limits of Greensboro", and the description didn't clarify otherwise. That was not the case. The booking is for a floor in a home that is occupied. The title & description is a bit misleading, especially when looking at numerous homes to book. The floor we stayed on was exactly as it appears in the listing photos. It is very clean and fully stocked. 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, with a full kitchen, & large living room. Our host Kris had a tomato pie, & a pound cake waiting for us when we checked in. I had never tried tomato pie but it is now something I will try to make at home. It was SO GOOD! Since I thought I booked a house, I had assumed there would be a washer/dryer. That was not the case. However our hosts, Kris & Brent went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including access to a washer/dryer. Brent even checked the air in my tires before we left on our check out morning. I am so very thankful for all of that! The property is absolutely gorgeous! The floor we were on also has a very large patio that overlooks the pond in the back. When we had a bit of free time, we walked around the property and the pond. We saw deer, geese, different types of birds, numerous butterflies, & firefly's at night. It was fantastic being in the "country" but still by the "city". The drive to the stadium at NC University was 12 minutes. My son & I were busy most of the time with the Jr. Olympics track meets, so we did not get to relax as much as we would've liked. My sister who came with us, was able to go tour a local winery & goat cheese farm with our hostess. She really enjoyed it! If we ever go back for a relaxing girls getaway, this would be the place to go. The house and property were BEAUTIFUL! And I guess if a booking misunderstanding had to happen, at least it was a good experience with good people, and in a safe place. The only thing that may have made it even better would have been if it was in the Fall so we could see all the beautiful colors.
If I am ever in Greensboro again I know where I will stay.
Amazing people. We had everything we needed and more. Absolutley great hosts. Thanks again for everything.
Beautiful Setting with Great Hospitality
My husband and I met our three friends from SC for a four day vacation in Greensboro,NC. ....Instead of a hotel stay, we chose to reserve this beautiful two bedroom home. Clean, comfortable, well appointed...Kris was a gracious host with refreshments upon our arrival. The property is located in a rural neighborhood that is close to I 85 and I 40 and restaurants and shopping as well as entertainment venues.
We had the best of all worlds...waking up and looking across the large deck to the relaxing view of green meadow, pond and barns was so peaceful.
Master bedroom and lovely large bath with huge shower and separate bath tub were a sweet surprise. Super nice large Kitchen with everything you need to entertain guests.
Max Comfort for our group...
Thank you and we will be back to stay again. S. Wilkey
