Perfect for a fishing, hunting, family getaway or romantic retreat
About Paulette Brown
We have been enjoying Lake Eufaula for over twenty years. We built this place in about 2007 and have worked on it over the years to make it our own. It has all of the amenities of home, but offers the perfect getaway. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Paulette Brown purchased this House in 2007
Why Paulette Brown chose Abbeville
Great location with private dock, close to Bakers Landing and Thomas Mill Landing with boat dock (less than 1 mile). Beautiful views of the lake.
What makes this House unique
Close to dock, close to Bakers Landing for any bait or last minute needs. Walmart within 12 miles and Dollar General even closer. Restaurants nearby both in Abbeville and Eufuala.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
had a good time. everything was very adequate..
Madison’s Lake house
We had a great vacation. The only things I’d like to see added are a covered boathouse and maybe a charcoal grill. Very nice place.
Very nice stay
Only concern we had was the WIFI. Although WiFi is unimportant for any of us normally, I was taking classes and it was very inconvenient for us to communicate with family back home. I confirmed when I booked that the house had WiFi. When it did not I had to go into town to conduct school business. Other than the WiFi our stay was amazing.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Please accept our apologies about the issues with the internet. We typically only have problems when it is storming and haven't had any problems reported. We appreciate your bringing it to our attention so we can have it checked out so it won't be a problem in the future. We hope to have you back again!
This home was cozy and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. The uncovered dock was big enough for us to easily dock our pontoon boat and a bass boat and still be able to fish comfortably. It is hard to see in the pictures but the dock is just straight out behind the home, we could see our boats from the house. They also have a smoky joe size grill or a propane grill on the back deck with plenty of seating. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend with the family, if only the fish were biting it would’ve been even better. The owners were very helpful with any questions we had and quick to respond when emailed. We would stay here again.
We stayed in the property for a week. The location on the lake is good as there is a boat landing within .5 of a mile from the house. I was bass fishing and the location allowed me to be able to fish large creeks where I could get out of the wind. My wife enjoyed downtown Eufaula which is about 15 to 20 minutes away. We found good restaurants in town. The house was clean and decorated like a lake house. My wife thought it was well stocked with items you hope to find in the kitchen. The owners were very responsive if we had a question. I enjoyed the large shower in the main bathroom that had great water pressure. It was really great after fishing all day. We hope to go back.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed the house and had a great time. We look forward to having you back in the future.
