The place is a cozy, well kept beach house. Only a short walk to the beach. The owner is very easy to work with. Fun place to stay in Old Orchard!

We had a nice stay in OOB! I echo the other reviews that the property is in need of basic repairs such as blinds, curtains and holes in walls/closet doors. Plentiful in sheets and towels though the bare minimum overall. We could not find the hair dryer and had to purchase one, nor could we locate the tv/Roku remotes. If it wasn’t for a Roku app on my phone we wouldn’t have had tv for the whole vacation. The beds were comfy and the proximity to the beach was great!
Hi Chelsea, I hear you loud and clear for sure and have scheduled everything to be done that needs to be done. I really want my guests to enjoy themselvs and not worry about anything so thank you again for your input. It helps me understand what really needs to be addressed. Perfect location for Old Orchard Beach
Perfect for a family of four or a group of people. This place is great for making your vacation stress free. Very nice spot.

Hi Benoit, I hear you loud and clear and keeping the cottage up to par is my responsibility so I have scheduled the entire cottage to be painted, more furniture added, all minor issues (no matter how minor) to be fixed immediately. I want guests to enjoy their stay and for them to see this little cottage for the great cozy little space it is, so I have done what I need to so I can make that happen. Thanks again.
It was comfortable but minor things were broken .

Hi Sally, I'm sorry to hear that since a few things were broken you felt that meant a 3-star rating. I feel that is a bit unfair but will do my best to remedy any small broken items. I agree that no guest wants items to not work nor do I want that for my guests. I would have gladly sent someone to fix them right away if you had let me know, although I understand that guests don't want a handyman in their home during their stay either. This is a new property for me and I am working to make it perfect for guests so thank you for at least bringing these things to my attention.
Not ready for prime time
Very sparsely furnished, no curtains, bureaus, tables, lamps. There was only one roll of toilet paper- we had to buy some. Place had not been cleaned so there were 3 hours I paid for when I could not use the place. I would steer clear until these issues have been addressed.
Hi Elaine, I apologize for the wait you had to endure while we sent someone to clean. Cleaning was running a bit behind that day, which is not your issue and I understand that. It has since been addressed and will not be happening again. This (as stated in other mentions) is a new property for me that was set up late in the summer. With that said, there are definitely some items that can be added and they will be ready for this coming summer. I'm sorry if this caused trouble for you. I know that reviews are based not just on the property but the experience of the guests as well and I'm deeply regretful that you felt your experience was only 2-stars. I have used this feedback to truly make sure these items have been addressed. I understand you most likely won't be back but you are more than welcome back anytime to see the changes that have been made.
