I spend most of my year in South Florida but spend as much time as I can in the Mad River Valley. It is a laid back life that I would love to have more of.
Susan McGrath purchased this condo in 2005
I fell in love with the Mad River Valley and Sugarbush many years ago as a single mom learning to ski and spending time with my four sons. I soon decided to buy my own place for all of us to call home.
The photo of me is taken at the Warren Glider Port.
See the mountains and valleys from silently on high, in all their seasonal splendor.
We had a great time Susan! Thank you. Your condo had all the extras like salt and pepper, scissors, place mats, maps, a deck of cards and a great selection of Bon Appetite. The staff and facilities were wonderful. When we arrived, they let us into the condo early. We skied, went to Flatbread and swam. My husband had a great time. He is the hard one to please. Thank you again.
The condo and facility was everything we could have asked for. Susan was extremely responsive and helpful in terms of check-in, check-out instructions as well as providing details of the facilities and things to do in the area. The pictures don't really do it justice, we were surprised by how big the place was and how the layout really gave it a ski house/loft feel as opposed to a condo feel. The rec center with pool/hot tub/tavern/fitness center was easily walk able. The bus stop to the base lodge was just outside the front door and only a 5 min ride. We were initially wary about sending a check instead of doing things electronically but Susan communicated the whole way through and made everything work out just fine.
Great place...VERY close to Sugarbush base lodge! Susan was wonderful to work with and we loved 3 days good snow.
Hesitant to write a glowing review as I want this wonderful home to be available for our next trip -- but that's not how I am :). We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The condo is beautiful and very spacious. The beds are super comfy with lush bedding. Very large dining room table provided ample space for our family breakfast each day. There's a lovely pool with grass, lawn chairs, etc. right outside the door. The kids loved playing soccer in the large open field next to the pool. Larger pool and hot tub near check-in were also a big hit. We're already planning our first ski trip of the year and we'll surely be returning here. Thanks for everything.
A group of female's stayed at this condo over MLK weekend and it was wonderful! There is a free shuttle to the base of Sugarbush which was short and so convenient. There was never a time where we felt like the condo didn't provide what we were looking for. There is a great family room with fireplace, perfect size kitchen table which is open to the kitchen, and plenty of bedrooms for sleeping arrangements. All in all, the condo was cozy in the Winter and we all had a blast.
