Beautifully maintained and furnished quaint 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage in the heart of the historic Fifth Ward. Home has living room, kitchen, dining room, and half bath on first floor and four double beds and full bath on second floor. Living room is furnished with italian leather sofa and loveseat and mahogany wood coffee table. Hardwoods throughout. Brand new kitchen and appliances. This home is the nicest maintained rental in the area. Do not miss out.
Washer/Dryer in basement, off-street parking for 2 cars. Additionally, monthly renters will get one on-street parking pass. Relax on the front porch and people watch or sunbathe or entertain on the new brick paver patio. Very short walk to Wellington Park, which has beach, playground, ball fields. Five houses up the street from all the marinas, bars, restaurants, and shopping that Newport has to offer. International Tennis Hall of Fame and Mansions less than 1/2 mile away.
I purchased this property 15 years ago because I enjoy summering in Newport. It is a very active City with lots of history, character, nightlife, restaurants, beaches and fishing.
Parking in Newport is a premium. This property has offstreet parking for 2-3 cars as well as a beautiful brick paver patio area surrounded by dark green arborvitae for privacy and relaxation.
This was a great house for 8 women to spend the weekend together! Very clean and comfortable but more importantly it was such a reasonable price for such a great location! I had never visited Newport before and did not know how close/far from everything this would be but we were able to walk everywhere! Beds were comfortable though there are four double beds which was fine for us ladies but I wanted to mention as this could be a problem for some couples used to sleeping on a larger bed for example. All the ladies on our trip were very impressed with the house and I do not doubt all of us would consider the house again if future plans brought any of us back to Newport!
