The bungalow is located on a small, quiet, but spacious complex conveniently situated near the heart of Playa Blanca and its Punta Limones centre within easy walking distance of the harbour as well as local beaches, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

The modernised bungalow - with its own garden and patio providing views of the communal pool - sleeps up to 4 people.

Accommodation consists of a lounge, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining area. There is a private patio and garden.

WiFi is available at a small additional charge.

Playa Flamingo beach is a short stroll , whilst the beaches of Playa Blanca and Playa Dorado are between 300 to 800 metres away.

There is a supermarket around 100 metres from the complex.

Ample car parking is available in the cul-de-sac next to the bungalow.

Maid Service: The weekly maid service consists of a full clean, with a supply of fresh bed linen and double allocation of bathroom, hand and kitchen towels.

Cot Hire: Cot hire is available on request.

Safety Deposit Box: A small, returnable deposit secures the key for a safety deposit box.

I had a very good stay in the bungalow, and everything went well without any problems. It was very quiet on the complex, and this is important to me. The location was good because I could get to the bus stop, promenade and supermarket easily.

Fantastic 1 week holiday - Easter 2015

My husband and I travel to the Canary Islands up to 3 times a year. We usually rent private apartments and had a lovely 1 week holiday at an apartment at the Jardin Del Sol complex in Playa Blanca Lanzarote. All the communication with the owner Steve was excellent. He answered our many questions promptly and was very helpful. All the instructions received were clear and accurate.

These are the things we particularly liked about our holiday:-

It was the first time we had stayed at a private apartment without the need to contact someone regarding minor or major problems.

Indoor- There were both indoor ( glass ) and outdoor ( plastic ) sets of glasses and plates. There were also good size mugs for a decent cup of tea! So often both of these are not available and we often end up buying mugs while we are in the Canaries and end up leaving them in the apartment! The washing machine was great, with a really short wash cycle which was perfect for holidaymakers.

The fridge was really cold and the first we’d had, when we’d been able to put milk in the fridge in the Canaries, without it going off within 24 hrs. There is a lovely alcove in the kitchen area and the tiled, open plan, walk in shower was welcomed.The TV had a Freeview package and a DVD player and a good selection of DVD’s

Outdoors - There were sufficient sunbeds, chairs etc to sit outside ( we used these every day ) and a built in barbecue. The complex was exceptionally quiet while we were there, considering it was a school Easter holiday. We really liked this and often we were the only people around the pool! There was a spar close by – just 2-3 minutes walk and was reasonably priced and near the Spar supermarket was the Popeye sports bar, which offered good cheap pub meals and all the live Football games. This kept us happy as we both enjoy watching Football. There were plenty of other bars nearby that offered live sport and good food.It was only a 5-10 min walk ( depending on how fast you walk! ) to the main strip and shops etc. There is a lovely coastal walk which goes on for miles either way. One way will take you up to the market at Peurto Rubicon 2 days per week and further on takes you to the Papagayo beach area. The other way takes you up to the Lighthouse, which is always worth a visit.

All in all we had a lovely time and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone.

"A Place in the Sun"

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Lanzarote.

We were thrilled to find, on arrival, that our bungalow at Jardin del Sol was spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated throughout.

Its position on the complex was perfect, being close to the pool, yet private enough to sunbathe and eat in peace!

We were able to sit in the sun on our patio, surrounded by luxuriant flowering plants, feasting our eyes on all the beautiful colours.

The bungalow was only a short walk from the sea front with its pleasant promenade, and there were several supermarkets, restaurants and pubs close-by.

Jardin del Sol provided the perfect base to explore Playa Blanca, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

"A Place in the Sun"

My husband and I have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Lanzarote.

Our stay at the bungalow in Jardin del Sol was a happy was spotless on arrival, and its position on the complex was perfect.The bed was extremely comfortable, and the furnishings very pleasant to the eye.

Our private garden was a step away from the pool, which was supplied with ample sun beds. Lush flowering plants were growing in abundance all around the bungalow, and our garden was so private that we could sunbathe, or eat, in peace!

We were only a short walk from several supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, and the sea front with its delightful promenade was even closer. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

good appreciation of the property

Ideal for a lazy holiday for two pensioners, could have stayed longer. Facilities good, couild do with a conventional oven. The lack of this limited our meals in house. All facilities were adequate. Though unable to operate the dvd probably due to inadequate knowledge.

Super mkt nearbye good, some restaurants along front not of the best but found one La Bocaina as you come into PB very good. Will certainly go back probably for longer.

The pool was abit cold at this time of year, though the weather was excellant during our stay.

we stayed at these apartments in june 2009 found through this site. from the very beginning we had excellent service. steve the owner was extremely helpful and prompt to reply to any quieries we had.

The apartment was in an excellent position near to many ammeneties and only 50 metres from the sea front, with bars and tavernas within waIking distance. All that we tried had good food and service.

the apartment was clean and tidy on arrival with a welcome pack ,this was a nice touch. the apartment was well furnished with T.V Sky and and a C.D player.

we would not hesitate to book again in fact we have already booked for November.

Great position,lovely bungalow

Really great position for pool,shops,harbour, absolutely every thing.Nice flat walk,no surprise hills.Bungalow clean and comfy,plenty of cups,crockery etc.Lovely powerful shower,plenty of hot water.

Met all of our needs.

Owner provided great directions,and advice on car hire companies!(good prices)

Would recommend to family and friends for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

A trip to the volcanoes is a must, very busy in the mornings though.

A very enjoyable holiday,will return.

Playa Blanca is a former fishing village on the southwest tip of Lanzarote that has retained many of its traditional features and much of its original charm. It enjoys stunning views across the Straits of Bocaina to Fuerteventura and the smaller neighbouring island of Los Lobos.

Its informal, relaxed atmosphere focuses on a small harbour - offering a 35-minute ferry service to Fuerteventura at regular hourly intervals - which stands at the mid point of a wide seafront promenade stretching eastwards from Punta de Pechiguera to Las Coloradas Beach at Punta del Papagayo.

There is a commercial centre near the harbour. The nightlife centres on restaurants and bars providing low key entertainment.

There are three local sandy beaches with waters ideal for bathing and water sports.

Marina Rubicón is an up-market oceanside development, with a 400 berth harbour, designer outlets, restaurants, cafes and bars between the southern resort of Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches.
