Amazing little gem
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and LOVED it. It was a beautiful location and awesome accommodations. The amenities were perfect and we enjoyed the very relaxing atmosphere.
We loved it. Secluded and private is just what we wanted. The landscaping was beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was a wonderful week!
Property was as described and was a wonderful getaway for our anniversary! Its perfect if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and tranquil setting. Ideal location for exploring upcountry Maui including Road to Hana, Maui Wine, and the towns of Makawao & Paia. The highlight for us was the cool & starry nights. I have never had a better viewing experience of the stars. Would highly recommend..
This was such a fun place to stay! Definitely out of the way and quiet which was a nice change from busy lives! Hosts were very helpful with recommendations and with communication! Would definitely come back
Very nice home and perfect location!
The property was well-maintained everything was exactly as described! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here, it was very relaxing! We live on Kauai so our expectations were pretty high since our home Island is a pretty awesome place already, we were not disappointed! We will definately stay here again.
The property is gorgeous and the owners have thought of everything to make the stay wonderful. The only negative was multiple dogs barking every night when the sun goes down for hours which ruined the solitude.
I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. I wished I would have been alerted about the barking dogs so we could have addressed the issue. I am checking with the neighbors now to see what the problem is. I am sorry you had to deal with this. It is normally not a problem.
The Road to Hana is a must see and do as is sunrise at Haleakala. The breathtaking views are quite spectacular and unique to Maui.
If you have a sense of adventure, you might enjoy ziplining at Piiholo Ranch or mountain biking in the Makawao Forest. Hiking the Bamboo Forest is another favorite attraction. Once there, you will see painted Eucalyptus trees and flowing waterfalls depending on the time of year.
Maui is a whale sanctuary and we are visited by 2,000 whales every year. There are plenty of excursions available for whale watching from November through April. Peak season is typically January through early April.
Additionally, there are many fine restaurants nestled in and around Upcountry. Bev Gannon's General Store in Haliimaile, is an upscale restaurant with fabulous libations and a tantalizing menu. There are several Bistro's and other fine dining restaurants in Makawao. Thirty minutes away in Paia Town, there are many diverse restaurants to choose from as well...all delicious and very affordable.
