Spacious two bed, two bath zone 2 flat. Wif, balcony, terrace!

This gorgeous converted warehouse flat in a cobbled street five mins stroll from the new Wapping tube boasts great living space (especially in London terms) plus a large West-facing private balcony and also the use of a stunning huge riverside terrace. Both bedrooms are extremely spacious with large beds and big fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a Juliette balcony and an en-suite with bath, loo and basin. Bedroom two has its own bathroom with shower, loo and basin. Both bathrooms come equipped with heated towel rails, top-class towels - and lots of shelf space!

The spacious living room has three sofas, a chair, TV, radio and a large designer solid cherry wood dining table with eight chairs overlooking the balcony which has a solid oak Yask table and benches to seat eight and views of Shadwell Basin. The kitchen is fully-fitted with washer/dryer, dishwasher, waste disposal, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker etc. Everything is provided for your comfort.

The flat is on the fourth floor with reliable lift so is suitable for older guests and those with children. As the building is old the flat does not have modern facilities for disabled guests although we have had a lady in a wheelchair stay very successfully.

  • There are two very large bedrooms; both with beautiful Heals beds, one superking (6') and one king (5') size. In each room there is a storabed, one Relyon and one Ecofirm both with immaculate top-quality mattresses. This means that each bedroom can sleep between two and four and we have photos of the bedrooms with all the beds in place and can email these on request. In the first bedroom there is plenty of room for three beds but the second bedroom is not as spacious so there is not much room left. However, there is plenty of room in the rest of the flat, balcony, communal terrace and London! There is also a double sofabed in the living room so we can sleep eight people comfortably and ten at a push. However, because there are only two bathrooms and because of the nature of the apartment block (quiet and residential - we are the only holiday let) we feel that the maximum occupancy is only really suitable for a family party. We, generally, cannot accept large parties of adults.

PLEASE NOTE that our specialist holiday let insurance does not allow us to rent the flat to groups of people under 25 years of age. We will require sight of the principal guest's ID and full names of everyone staying before confirming the booking. We do not allow parties and should any parties or other antisocial behaviour take place to the extent that there are complaints to the owners or the authorities then we reserve the right to terminate the reservation with immediate effect and with no refund of monies paid. We are sorry that we have to impose this new condition after many years of holiday letting but after a case of recent appalling behaviour we have to protect ourselves in case of future incidents. By making a booking you accept these terms in full.

Stunning flat within walking distance to train station

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this roomy, well appointed Wapping area flat which is London city center close via train/tube, but is in a relatively quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The corner Italian bakery/deli is wonderful and the small stores within Wapping itself had what we needed between grocery runs. Larger grocery stores and restaurants near St. Katharine's Dock area are just a short ( beautiful!) walk away. Morning strolls across the street and down Pelican Stairs will land you on the Thames shores at low tide.( Fun sea glass hunting time of day!) It was a pleasure to work with Elizabeth who handled our reservation and subsequent needs. She is extremely professional and responded to every question we had. If you are looking for a perfect, comfortable "home away from home" while in London, then this is the spot for you! Would absolutely stay again at this flat or seek a property managed by Elizabeth the next time we are in London.

Lovely clean and comfortable

It was a pleasure to book this place , even the key were posted to me . On arrival we find the place very clean and pleasant , the fresh milk in the fridge was very welcomed .

We really enjoyed staying in the place . Highly recommending it .

Bedrooms comfortable and clean , there is no bad thing I can say about this place and customer service I got from Elizaberh !

Wonderful place to stay. Great neighborhood.

We had a fantastic time at this flat. It is in a nice residential neighborhood that is very safe and quiet. There are good places to eat within walking distance and the tube station and a bus stop are very close by. Elizabeth was wonderful to deal with and I would definitely stay here again.

A home away from home.

My family of 4 stayed in this wonderful apartment while in London. The locations is fantastic a short walk gets you to the Wapping tube station. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but by no means remote. I was attending a conference at the Excel centre and access to the DLR was easy. The apartment itself was everything one could have hoped for in a vacation rental. There was plenty of everything and the place was very well kept. The tour books and Oyster cards as well as a cell phone were beyond any other unit we have rented over years of VRBO type rentals. I would recommend this unit without hesitation.

Comfortable, spacious and great location

We stayed in the apartment for 9 weeks, 5 weeks were with another couple and another 2 my Mother came to stay. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sorry to leave. My relatives who live in Greater London loved coming to visit before we headed off to see the wonderful sights of London. The conveniently located pubs and restaurants were a real bonus as well as the large supermarket and smaller shoosb nearby. We had 3 lunch parties at the big dining room table and when the weather got warmer Pimms on the sunny balcony. Elizabeth who manages the property made the whole process of renting the property very easy and Anna the housekeeper keeps it beautifully. There are some wonderful touches, Oyster Cards provided, details of transport options, pub menus, tourist information, WIFi, phone, board games, radios and even a walking stick! Wapping itself is really very charming and you cannot possibly tire of watching The Thames flow by. We cannot wait for a return visit.

By staying in the flat you agree to the following terms and conditions. If any of these terms and conditions are broken then we reserve the right to cancel the contract immediately with no refund.


Our cancellation policy is 50% refund if cancelled before 90 days until the stay commences. If cancelled within 90 days days of the date the stay commences then we return no monies but, in reality, we do our utmost to rebook the dates and return as much of the money as we can. I can send reviews from thrilled guests who have had monies returned unexpectedly. We always do our best.

We require photo ID of the principal guest, please, and full names and ages (if under 25) of all guests who will be occupying the flat. This is imperative to comply with our specialist insurance stipulations and the booking cannot be confirmed without these.

The contract is for the number of guests who appear on the booking.

There are to be no parties. If there is any noise or other sort of nuisance reported to the porter or police then the contract will be terminated immediately with no refund due.

You will be left bed linens and towels for the amount of people booked into the flat.

If anything is taken from the locked cupboards the cost for laundering/replacement will charged to you.
