About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Office, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Our cozy, classic,' A'-frame cabin has been remodeled and comfortably accommodates up to four adults. It is located two miles south of Tahoe City on the historic West Shore. Walk three short blocks to our private beach and park. We are 6 miles from Squaw Valley and 4 miles north of Homewood Ski area. The Homeowners Association property consists of three and a half acres of beautifully maintained amenities such as 850 feet of lake front footage, two piers, boat buoys, picnic facilities, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, lawn area, playground equipment, basketball court, and open space. Additionally, we are very close to neighborhood restaurants Fire Sign Café and Sunnyside Lodge for dining.

Our cabin has an open living/dining area, a small well-equipped kitchen (without dishwasher), one bathroom with shower, one bedroom with a full bed, and laundry room with a washer and dryer (linens are included). Upstairs is a loft office with a twin futon and a queen bedroom. It is well furnished with high speed wireless internet, flat screen high def cable TV, stereo, CD, DVD system in the living room, a loft office, and a loft bedroom.

Our cabin is a non-smoking property and due to family allergies, we cannot allow pets.

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

Truly enjoyed our ski weekend at this A-frame gem. Stayed with our 2 teenagers and really enjoyed that they could each have their personal space upstairs. My son slept in the bed and my daughter took the futon. We walked to the store one night to purchase ingredients to cook dinner in. The store was amazing and the kitchen was very well outfitted to cook a full meal. They driveway and roads were kept clean throughout the snowy weekend. We would love to stay again in the summer to enjoy all of the amenities of the lake! We highly recommend this property.

Cozy Getaway close to Tahoe City and Skiing

  • 5 of 5

A group of three of us really enjoyed our stay at this property for a long weekend. It was the perfect size for three adults and very cute, cozy, and well-equipped. The drive into Tahoe City was just a few minutes and the cabin was close to both Homewood and Squaw which we went to for skiing. Small touches of thoughtfulness were really appreciated upon arrival including the heat already having been turned on at a nice baseline temperature. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire booking process and during the stay. I had a question during the stay about a missing snow shovel (house notes referred to it), and the owner responded quickly and had one dropped off the following day. It was a snowy weekend so this was appreciated, in addition to the fact that the property's driveway is plowed which made getting in and out of the driveway easier. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this cabin and would book here again.

Excellent Cozy Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay at the cabin with the wife and kids during a big dumping snow storm. The driveway was plowed and easy to access, even with all the snow. The cabin was warm and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Plus, you're in close proximity to food (Fire Sign, Sunnyside), groceries in Tahoe City, and skiing at Alpine, Squaw, and Homewood! We're really hoping to have our own set up like this someday!

Thanks Chad and co. for being communicative and hospitable. We'd love to stay again. -Will

Great base for Lake Tahoe stay!

  • 5 of 5

Very comfortable, clean, and well equipped cabin which was perfect for our stay at Lake Tahoe. Situated in a peaceful residential area, it is just a short walk to lake shore, great deli and a handful of decent restaurants. Good trails nearby and plenty of attractions to keep everyone occupied. Clear communications from owners and easy to book. We would not hesitate to recommend the cabin to anyone looking for comfort and good value at Lake Tahoe.
