This traditional stone villa offers 3 self-contained apartments for rent. All apartments are newly renovated and located only 10 meters from the water's edge in a peaceful bay in Lumbarda. The villa is in a quiet location, but only a few minutes drive from the village centre where you will find cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, bank ATM, taxi services and a post office. The nearest bus stop is located within walking distance and the local bus service operates until the evening.
All apartments are air-conditioned, contain a kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dinning area, have a TV + car parking. The terraces on the first floor and the verandah on the ground floor are perfect for alfresco dining or relaxing while enjoying the fabulous sea views.
The apartments can be rented separately or the villa can be rented as a whole for larger groups.

Means of access: The most frequently used means of accessing Korcula are: (1) Via ferry/catamaran from Split to Korcula or via ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula, 2) Via car from Split or Dubrovnik followed by a short ferry ride from Orebic (Peljesac Peninsula) to Korcula.
Things to do on holiday to Korcula: There are many idyllic pebble beaches to choose from, most of which are never crowded. Sailing and boating from Lumbarda are wonderful activities allowing you to discover the tiny, uninhabited islands that surround Lumbarda (e.g. Vrnik), and have beautiful little beaches, as well as offering some of the most beautiful island scenery anywhere in the Mediterranean.
There are a huge amount of leisure activities to try in Lumbarda such as canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling & windsurfing. Scuba diving in Lumbarda is particularly adventurous, offering wreck diving, cave diving and wall diving allowing you to view first-hand the wondrous marine life of the Mediterranean. The island is a haven for walking and mountain biking holidays too. Remote spots are easily reached on both foot and bike allowing you to experience the sights and taking you to some of the most beautiful and peaceful spots on the island.
The first floor apartment no 1 has sleeping capacity of 4+1 persons and is ideally suited for a family or a group of friends. The apartment contains 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen size bed whilst the second bedroom has 2 single beds. All beds are fitted with excellent quality cotton linen and quilts.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils/crockery/cookware.
The open plan living/dining area is tastefully furnished with antique furniture adding a romantic feel and contains a dining table that seats 6 people as well as a comfortable couch/sofa bed which sleeps an additional person. The living area flows out onto a large terrace where you can kick back and unwind in true holiday style whilst enjoying the spectacular, picture perfect sea views.
Having left the corporate world and nearing retirement, Inga decided to pursue her life long dream of running and managing a holiday property. Whilst Inga and her family have lived in Australia for the last 15 years, Inga travels across the globe every year to personally manage the apartments for 6 months of the year.

The Inga's family, born and bred in Dalmatia is very familiar with the Croatian coast. In the mid-1980s they set out to find a new holiday home – somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the summer crowds, picturesque and rich in nature, yet not remote. For these reasons, Korcula was the obvious choice. After an extensive search of the island for the perfect house in the perfect bay, they found what is now called Villa Diha – a traditional Dalmatian stone house, with a terracotta tile roof and wooden shutters built a mere stone throw from the water’s edge.
Villa Diha is situated in undoubtedly the most attractive bay in the village of Lumbarda. This is the reason why the bay is often referred to by the locals as the Beverly Hills of Korcula.
Aside from this, the owner is very proud of the overwhelming number of comments from guests that the property feels like a home away from home rather than a rental property. This is reflected in the high number of repeat bookings annually.

Very nice beach apartment, delivering good value for the money. Kitchen and furnishings are basic but more than adequate for the purpose. The appeal of this apartment is the fabulous location across the street from its own "beach", near Lombarda. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and enjoy coffee and a swim on the waterfront. The front patio was nice too, with a beautiful view, but the fruit tree next to it was infested with some sort of flying beetles--harmless, but annoying nonetheless.
Stayed here part of our first trip to Croatia. We loved Lumbarda, Korcula and this home. My only complaint was the beds or mattresses all need to be replaced. They were VERY uncomfortable for all of us. Other than that, the place was very clean and quiet. Was just a few steps to the Adriatic sea. We sat on the balcony every morning and evening and enjoyed the view and breeze.
We spent a week here in the middle of a two-week holiday which started in Dubrovnik and ended in Split. We wanted somewhere to relax in between the busy destinations at either end. We were not disappointed! The apartment was spacious and well-equipped with the most amazing balcony. We also loved the beach area immediately across the little lane with beach chairs there for our use. Nice walk into Lumbarda itself with plenty of cafes and restaurants; bus stop 4 minutes away to Korcula town. We swam across the bay to a café and back again - so quiet and relaxing! Our teenage children loved the place - thank you Inga for a really enjoyable stay. We will be recommending it to our friends!
We traveled by car from Sweden and we stayed two weeks at Villa Dahlia . Our apartment was two bedrooms and a bathroom. The view is fantastic, just a few meters from the see . No owner is a fantastic host. She gave good recomendations for restaurants, trips and places to see.

The island is a great place for holidays and this appartment has an excelent location just a few meters from the sea. The owner Inga is a great host, she informed us about good restaurants, place to visit, ferry connections etc. Definetly a place we recomend to all our friends.
Lumbarda is a small and picturesque seaside village situated on the eastern coast of Korcula Island. The village is built in a secluded and picturesque cove with breathtaking views across the numerous tiny islands. It is a very popular tourist spot boasting the only sandy beaches on the island with the most popular (and busiest) being the sandy beach of Vela Przina. There are several taverns and restaurants in the village to give you the taste of the local cuisine as well as the famous dessert wine made from Grk grapes cultivated in Lumbarda. Lumbarda is only 5 kilometers from Korcula Old Town which is a perfect example of a medieval Dalmatian town with red sloped roofs and thick defensive stone walls. Korcula is rich in historical monuments, cathedrals, galleries and embodies the essence of Dalmatian ambiance. There is also an abundance of delightful cafes and restaurants to tempt your taste buds. Dubrovnik is easily accessible by car, ferry and a daily door-to-door taxi service.

An extra person is charged 10 Euros per night.
