Paid for 2 weeks - stayed for 2 nights
A lesson in ad speak -
Rustic - a small room, a bed with mosquito netting (that is not a "romantic touch"), a table for your suitcase, a floor fan and 15 watt blight bulb - one plug.
The double bed has about 3 feet to walk around 2 sides. The thin thatched walls are 8 feet high while the ceiling soars to about 20 feet - not so good for privacy. The bathroom is a toilet, a corner sink and a pipe with a stop cock valve; the "shower". No shower head or hot water - a pipe with a stop cock valve. The water - which will pool and stagnate for the next few days on the floor eventually warms up so when you walk through it in the middle of the night it's not cold any longer.
If you're a 20 something surfer looking for a cheap place to stay at the beach this is perfect. The beach is fine, the waves great - although not so much for swimming as the bottom is all rock surface - and local restaurants nearby are inexpensive with varied menus. The breakfast at Fins Nerni is good as well.
If you are not the described target market - I would recommend avoiding this hotel and this area entirely.
