About Betsy Munson
I am a teacher in Loudoun County and reside in Clarke County. My mom passed away in 2015 and I purchased the home from my siblings in 2016. For two years, I have renovated and restored the home to where I think my mother would be proud of this home. I am a mother of four grown children and have three grandchildren. I coach soccer, help out in the family business, and have written two books, "Life is a Melody" a novella and "The Flower GIrl" a compilation of short stories.

Why Betsy Munson chose Rileyville
The Keyser House is my childhood home and I have so many treasured memories of this house. I hope you will have some treasured vacation memories when you stay with me and enjoy the beauty of the historic Shenandoah Valley! As a child, my mother always invited all of the neighbors in to visit and to have meals. I would like to offer her home to you to relax and to enjoy!
What makes this House unique
Enjoy the country ambiance with all of the comforts of home. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the house also has a large yard, deck and has been recently landscaped. The family room is spacious and comfortable. The family also own property on the Shenandoah River just across 340 about a quarter mile away. It is conveniently located to many scenic attractions.

Cute house but no service
House was very nice and clean but was very hard to keep cool due to it being a two story house. There were four AC units in the house but that still made it hard to keep the entire house cool. There was absolutely no signal at the house for cell phone reception which made it very difficult to communicate with other people we were traveling with and there was no WiFi at the home to help supplement the cell service. The property owner was very nice and responded quickly to my emails when I had a question about something.
Peaceful and relaxing
I love old houses and this one doesn’t disappoint. Plenty of room to pull the dinning room table out and play games for hours with the family while relaxing in the country quiet. Enjoyed sitting on the big back porch listening to the crickets and watching the fireflies! Owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we would need and have already booked another reservation!
I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay!
I love sharing my home and glad you enjoyed the serene atmosphere and antiques in the house. So looking forward to your next visit.
Visit Years Past!
We really enjoyed staying in this early 1900's home with décor and furnishings right out of the time period. The old-fashioned kitchen had all the modern appliances needed to cook meals and the two large bathrooms were new. The owner reached out to us before our stay to be sure we had everything we would need, and all her instructions and directions to the house were helpful and easy to follow. Rileyville is also a return to the past - a beautiful old farming town, very close to Luray, in a lovely location along the Shenandoah River.
Thanks so much! I really enjoyed hosting your stay!
