Our holiday in The Dordoin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beutifull "home from home" in August 2009 more than enough space for the four of us. my wife, teenage son and nine year old daughter. The hill behind the house was great for walks also two rather good golf courses both very close to the house The village has a well stocked supermarket with fuel all credit cards work and we got a better rate of exchange than in England! The river runs through the village very nice for long or short walks. The house its very well equiped barby outside on e loverly upper terrace surrounded by plum trees very tasty! the garden is on three sides with the pool on the lower. large lounge British TV if you need it via sky plus DVD player. Loads of leafles on many atractions in the area fully equiped kitchin and large shower room. upstairs large master with views to two sides small but nessesery toilet and a second room with single beds. Both rooms have ample wardrobes. To say we had a great time is a massive understatment! We got home and imediatley booked two weeks 2010 cant wait to return.

2 Weeks of bliss!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our first visit to this property in 2008 so much we just had to return in 2009. Such a delightful house - very clean and just like it said on the website. Comfortable and in such an idyllic location. An ideal base for enjoying the glorious scenery of the Dordogne. Belves, Montpazier, Domme, Sarlat, Beynac, La Rocque etc etc. Just so much to see. We really enjoyed the L'AUBERGE DE LA NAUZE in nearby Fongauffier for sunday lunch. Also the Auberge du Trèfle à Quatre Feuilles in Siorac. Wonderful food!

We will be back - if you will have us!

Super location!

  • 5 of 5

Not only is the house pretty and well maintained, it is located in a great location for exploring the area as well as being close to shops. The kitchen is well fitted and the living room is comfortable. The back garden is a pleasant place to relax after a busy day. We appreciated the washing machine and clothesline and the wealth of information provided for visitors. Nice place!
