About Elizabeth Ginocchio
We are both originally from NJ/NY area, but now live in FL and ARUBA!. Prior to living in FL we lived on Aruba's sister island of Bonaire for almost 10 years where we owned and operated our own resort! We are semi retired and travel between Florida and Aruba. We love travelling, gardening, renovating homes, anything to do with the ocean, including boating, snorkeling, SCUBA diving. and just hanging out.
Elizabeth Ginocchio purchased this House in 2015
Why Elizabeth Ginocchio chose Noord
We LOVE Aruba and when we lived on her sister island Aruba is where we took our vacations! We wanted something in a quiet local area, but very close to everything, so this was the house we chose! It was a "fixer" when we got it, and we loved that, as we could make it exactly what we wanted... and we DID!!!
What makes this House unique
Our home has such amazing architectural features you don't see much on Aruba, and we loved all of the great details! All of the rooms have crown modeling and the living room and game room have great tray ceilings. We love the full tiled floors, the very high ceilings and the fact that it is a split plan, with the master suite nestled off on it's own... All the rooms have ceiling fans and the house faces east to west, so you have the amazing Aruban trade winds at your beckon call....

One Happy House
Property was as listed. It would of been helpful to have directions on how to walk to beach. Didn’t appear to have a direct walkway, sidewalks, etc but having use of the owner’s car made everything very accessible to explore the island. Kids loved the pool and waking up and going for a swim first thing in the morning and closing out the night with an evening swim.
Laura, Thanks so much so glad you enjoyed! The island is working on their infrastructure on making the area of Palm Beach/Noord area more walking friendly/accessible! So glad the Kia worked out for you! We loved hosting you and hope that you return again in the near future! Ed and Liz
Really enjoyed the pool. Beaches close by. Would recommend the stay away from the hotels.
Thank you so much! We love our pool as well, the salt water system leaves your skin so soft! Looking forward to you returning in the future!
Great Place to Stay on Aruba
Great house, prettier than pics! Spotless! Kitchen had everything we needed, the pool and yard were amazing. Very close to restaurants, casinos, shopping. We could walk to some restaurants and it only took about 4-5 to get to the tourist strip, easy parking. We loved that we could combine the owners vehicle with the rental.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful feedback! We saw the need to have a vehicle for our guests, to combine with the house. It is something we wished we had when we rent when we go on vacation! Gain thanks!
Amazing place to stay on Aruba
Great Property, close to everything! Had everything we needed! We even had a BBQ with some friends in the back yard! The home is truly a dream home away from home!
Ladies Fun in the Sun!
The house was perfect for our party of 5 women. We loved being able to open the sliding doors that lead out to the pool and patio. We did use the room air conditioners at night to cool down the bedrooms, and that made sleeping very comfortable. We rented the car that comes with the house, and that was fabulous! We drove all over the island and visited various beaches, and we were able to drive to the grocery store to stock up. That was a huge bonus that comes with this house if you so choose.
The only issue we had was the first day when we tried to use the gas stove and get hot showers the first morning. We texted Elizabeth and Marjoly, and Marjoly's husband, David [great guy!] came over to find that the propane tank was empty. He called the appropriate folks and we had our gas back, but that probably should've been checked before we came in. David also came another time when the back door sensor for the alarm system failed to work, but he got someone to fix that, too.
We also paid for the airport transfers provided by Marjoly and company, and that was easy and fun. I highly recommend this option.
Overall, it was a lovely place to spend a warm week of fun in the sun!
Judy, I'm so glad you enjoyed! I'm so sorry about the gas (propane). This is normally tracked by usage (one tank, when we are full usually last 2 months). The previous bottle was replaced less than a month from your arrival. We later found out from Arugas that the valve had a leak!!! Yikes!! From now on David will be soap testing all of the tanks when they arrive at our house! This is the first time in 4 years we have had one have a leak! As you know we arrived just after you left, and had the back doors inspected. We just put those doors in 3 months ago! I turns out that the lock handle of the door that wouldn't lock correctly was defective! It is being replaced this week. Once again, thanks so much and we are so glad you enjoyed!
Wonderful, Family Friendly, Cozy, Refreshing
Our stay was wonderful. We were here for 9 days with my parents and two toddlers. I can't speak highly enough of Golden Reef Hospitality and their willingness to make our stay comfortable and settle us in.
A few things we took advantage of through Golden Reef Hospitality that I'd recommend (there is a cost, but it's worth it!) - airport meet and greet, rental cars, and groceries. After a long day of travel with young children, it was so great to have a friendly face waiting for us at the airport to drive us to our vacation home. Our rental car reservation fell through so we used the Kia and a Hyundai that they booked for us. It was really nice to have separate vehicles for my parents and my family. The groceries were wonderful so we could have a relaxing night at home before trying to venture out (also diapers and wipes so we didn't need to pack so many!). Marjoly even ordered pizza for us the first night so we didn't need to cook. Absolutely wonderful hospitality.
We did bring some additional child-proofing gear that we would recommend to others traveling with small children: outlet plugs, cabinet latches (the kind that loop through handles - no holes), and bath mat (actually my parents used this - they found the shower slippery). Other things to make sure to bring for children - lots of sunscreen, hats, sippy cups, crocs (or other water shoes), swim shirts, swim diapers. We also brought our white noise machine and baby monitor. You may also consider a way to make the room darker if you plan to have kids in the twin bed room. There is security lighting outside that makes it so it doesn't get very dark in that room at night.
My favorite part of the house was the cabana and pool. It was so nice to not need to rush out in the morning and "compete" for the best spot on the beach like our previous experience at an all inclusive resort. We always had our personal paradise available without having to haul kids and gear anywhere. We really appreciated the privacy and the ability to cook and do laundry with young kids. It can be so much effort to get out of the house sometimes and it was nice to have the option to stay in. We came to Aruba for the beautiful weather and it did not disappoint. We left feeling refreshed and not wanting to return to snow and cold at home.
Thank you for the wonderful vacation!
We are so glad you enjoyed! I'm having Marjoly pick me us some 'baby proof" items ... found out you can get them on Aruba at a new children's shop! We will leave them at the house for other families! Hmmm... the security light is suppose to be a motion sensor... I will have Marjoly look at it... setting might be off.. thanks! I will also bring darkening curtains for the twin room as well! Thanks so much and we are so glad you enjoyed!
