Comfy Short North area 1910 Apartment Located On Summit St- Prime Location!!!
We met in Japan and moved to Columbus in 2009 and have been loving it ever since! We are both experienced travelers & love historic homes. We know quite a bit about the Short North as we have lived here since 2009.
Why Ingrid chose Weinland Park
We love old buildings and this one is no exception- it was built in 1910. Unfortunately the only historic parts left of the house interior are the fireplace tiles and stairs (if you want to count that)- I'm not even sure if the mantels are original... the rest of the house has been fully renovated.

5 night stay
Location was perfect for us as we were there for our convention. The home was cute and cozy and worked great for us. Was well stocked. Beds were very comfy. Our only complaints were it smelled musty (our friends in the building next to ours didn’t) and it was too hot to be able to open windows and air it out. I understand it is a old historic building though and that can happen. The small bed in the 3rd bedroom was in pretty bad shape (sunken in visibly and not comfortable) and I would have felt bad if we had gotten a 3rd roommate and made them sleep on it. There was only 2 of us so we were ok.
Thanks so much for the review Nicole. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Also, I appreciate you bringing the musty smell and bed to our attention. I will be sure to pass this information along and get it taken care of!
Walking distance to everything!
We loved the location and walked to everything we needed...grocery store, bars, great restaurants, Olentangy River Trail, Ohio State campus. Anything else is a short Uber away. Will be back!
So glad to hear that you'll be back! We would love to host again. Thanks so much for the positive feedback.
Great place to stay!
The house is decorated so cute and the beds are so comfortable. Loved all the added touches. Ingrid was so helpful and so easy to work with too. Would definitely stay here again!
My wife & I have stayed at this property multiple times. Exactly what we wanted each time. It's perfect for 2 couples but could fit a couple more. It's clean, convienent, and in a great area if you want places to eat & drink. Ingrid is fast to respond to any questions. Highly recommended...
Very clean and comfortable
