Beautiful and Relaxing
We absolutely loved the setting of this cabin, with beautiful views, fabulous full moons, and the song of loons calling. It was perfect, with a kayak, canoe, paddle board and water toys for kids to use who visited us one afternoon. A perfect spot to spend a week and have family over for dinners and wine on the beach. Fun fire pit for s’mores too! We hope to come back for another fabulous week or more on this wonderful site.
What a treat to stay here!
Our family had a great time at Deer Lake. The views were spectacular, the water clear as can be and the beach was perfect for playing and sitting at. The cherry on top for our children was being able paddle board, go canoeing and kayaking. The cabin was just what we were looking for, and the bunk house an added bonus. Plenty of room for everyone, and a secluded spot to enjoy. We spent our evenings at the fire pit making smores and laughing. We would definitely recommend this location!
The owners were very helpful and easy to contact and work with. 5 STARS!!
Family fun !
Our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves ! The rustic cabin met our needs and reminded me of the cabins of my childhood vacations! The grandsons loved staying in the bunk house with Grandma and Papa! The beach is absolutely perfect for children! We enjoyed the kayak and rowboat, fishing , campfires, lots of laughter and made memories that will be shared for years to come!
relaxing away from it all!
My family and I had such an amazing time at this cabin! It was just what we were looking for! The kids ( 8 and 5) had a fun time swimming and Because it was shallow and there wasnt any drop offs until you got out into the lake a ways it was also pretty worry free! The fishing was great! Just loaded up in the paddle boat and rowed out to where it gets deeper right in front of the cabin and fish away! Don't forget the net though because you never know when the big one will strike! ( It happened our last trip out and unfortunately we didn't have the net) it's a beautiful area and the area towns are all pretty awesome! Our favorite was Grand Rapids! Definitely plan on coming back in the future!
My friends and I had a girls' weekend at this cabin and had a great time! It was clean, organized, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The lake was quiet. There are cabins nearby, but all the trees provide a good buffer between you and the neighbors. We didn't see our neighbors the entire time. You can walk out to the middle of the lake (it's shallow and clear). We'd definitely come back!
