Ken Lang and Laurel McMahon Montana natives as well as brother and sister. Our paths have taken us out of Montana but we needed a place to re-connect with out roots. This is it! We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!
We had been looking for a home in Big Sky for some time. We stumbled across these townhomes and fell in love with the amenities and the view! Feels like a large home....but no lawn to take care of, PLUS a pool for summer and great access to the slopes.
Great trip with our grandchildren. Thank you. The kids loved your spacious condo and the outdoors around the condo.
We stayed at Kenny's condo for three nights at the end of our 11 night trip to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Big Sky. The pictures do not do this place justice--it is really big, and beautifully decorated. Everything is high quality, and there were plenty of towels, pillows, beach towels, etc. It was also very clean and well taken care of--did not feel like a rental property at all. Bathrooms were great, and my kids (four boys--8, 5,5, and 5) loved the game room--checkers, chess, puzzles, books, TV, etc. Also very nice views from the balconies. The only issue we had was that the hot tub was inexplicably drained when we arrived. I let Kenny know, and the hot tub service company came out the next morning and filled it up. We weren't able to use it until the next evening, but it was not a big deal, and my family loved using it. The condo is extremely convenient to the ski area as well as the shops and restaurants in the meadow area--as in 3-4 minutes, which was great for us. Also loved having the garage to park in. We didn't use the club house, but it is nice, too. Kenny was great to work with, and I would definitely recommend this condo to others. (Keep in mind it's three levels, so there are lots of stairs).
We had a great time on our fourth winter trip to Big Sky and this rental was part of the reason for that. The condo is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped - definitely even better than we had expected based on the website photos. The owner, Ken was very responsive to our every request before and during our stay there. He could not have been more accommodating. We cross country skied at Lone Mountain Ranch everyday and being right on their Meadow trails was really convenient. We recommend dinner at the Lotus Pad restaurant just across Rt. 64 from the condo.
Great location. The condo was even more beautiful, well appointed and clean than the pictures on the website. They had the condo stocked with several brochures, magazines and phone numbers to point you in the right direction on activities if you don't already have solid plans. Taking the lift to Lone Peak for a picnic on the mountain and whitewater rafting the Gallatin were some favorite trip highlights. The famers market at the meadow was cool too. We will definitely be back!
We were very pleased with this condo. The photographs really don't do it justice. The area is quiet and beautiful, and the condo is clean and very well maintained. It is convenient to a grocery store and restaurants. Our only regret is that we didn't reserve it for additional days. We have already recommended this condo to family and friends. We hope to return someday.
We loved this condo! There were nine of us (4 adults, 5 teenagers) and it accomodated us really well. We skiied Lone Mountain three days and cross country skiied one. We loved the fact that it was just a 10-15 minute drive from the condo to the slopes, that it was a quick five minutes to the store, AND that we saw moose, elk, and big horn sheep all within our five day stay. Next time we'll book a tour of Yellowstone ahead of time as over the holidays all opportunities were taken. The pictures of the condo on this site don't do justice to this incredible place.
Our family chose to meet here for the holidays. We found this Montana decorated condo to be very well kept, cozy and warm. We had enough room and privacy for 7 adults. We skiied and snowshoed in the sunshine even though the temperatures got frigid. We brought snowshoes but, outdoor equipment can be rented at several places. We used the well appointed kitchen and rustic dining table for nightly family meals. The hot tub was a great spot to stargaze at night. If we had any complaints, it would be that there is no bathroom on the main level. Two baths are upstairs and one on the lower level. More chairs like recliners or another sofa would be nice to allow everyone to comfortably enjoy the fireplace which we all used nightly. The condo is located near the pool area which would be great in summer. Oh, and Yellowstone is so close! Book your snowcoach winter tours of the national park early. We never did see any big horn sheep and the locals say they block traffic sometimes.
Private hot tub fits 7 adults for winter, shared pool for summer guests. All the best of Big Sky is at your doorstep, Downhill sking, cross country skiing at Lone Mtn Ranch, Big Sky trail system runs right out our back door for snowshoeing, cross country sking on golf course or take the trail to Lone Mtn Ranch Credit Card Processing through Pay Pal Great place for kids to explore the smal creek for frogs, football on the green grass, parents fish with the kids at big creek, bike the trail to Big Sky playgorund, park
