A very well presented & positioned three bedroom air conditioned duplex villa, on an attractive stylish development conveniently located within 100 metres of the beach, along Mojacar Playa. The villa has access to one of the best shared pool facilities in the area situated amongst beautifully kept mature gardens located approximately 5 steps off the terrace which leads from the back of the villa looking out towards the sea. The villa comprises excellent accommodation with an attractive terracotta terrace with table, chairs, large sun umbrella & gas barbecue. The first floor includes a good sized modern kitchen, shower, bathroom & toilet, through-lounge-diner which boasts modern settees, table & six chairs, satellite TV, DVD player & music system. Upstairs includes a master double bedroom with terrace, a room with twin beds, a third room also with twin beds, & Bath/shower/toilet. There's a stunning secluded roof terrace with beautiful panoramic views sun loungers & washing line. FREE WIFI for summer rentals.

Golf Courses: The area is well catered for in terms of Golf Courses with 3 Golf Courses within 10 minutes of the Villa. A new championship course is shortly due to be open in the next bay about 15 minutes away.

Garrucha a fishing town only 10 minutes away has a golf driving range if practise is required before heading to the fairways.

Fishing: The fishing off the coast is very good with a wide array of different species available from Tuna in season to Dolphin Fish, Garoupa, Bonito, Dorada, Conger, Bass and many many other species. Local boats are available for hire in Garrucha marina and offer good fishing at reasonable prices

Mojacar Playa and Garrucha: The playa is a long stretch of sand that comprises a vast array of restaurants and bars overlooking the sea offering entertainment for all ages and needs.

Garrucha is a traditional Spanish fishing port with a working fishing fleet that works most days of the year with the fish being landed at the port between 4.00 PM to 5.30 PM most days.

Naturally the fish restaurants are as good as it comes with an array of the best located around the port area.

  • On the first floor adjacent to the bedrooms is the main bathroom with bath, shower, hand-basin, bidet and toilet. The room is fully tiled to a good specification and benefits from good water pressure. On the ground floor is bathroom number two which once again is fully tiled to a good specification with bath, shower, hand-basin and toilet.

  • The master bedroom has a large double bed with fitted wardrobe, whicker vanity unit and bed-side tables with lamps. The room is air conditioned and heated depending on the requirements of the season. The room benefits from it's own terrace that overlooks a wonderful view to the sea which is literally only about 100 metres away. From the terrace you can climb the steps that take you to the roof terrace a real sun trap which enables wonderful views of the coastline. The second bedroom is of a good size with two single beds and fitted wardrobes with a bedside table and bed side lamps. It also has a set of drawers and mirror. The room is air conditioned and heated depending on the requirements of the season. The third bedroom is a smaller room with two new beds, one that pulls out from under the other. The room has a fitted wardrobe.

superb holiday

1st-15th august 2009. The house was perfect great to have private garden and bbq, pool lovely our 6 year old loved it and could be seen from garden. Everything we could wished for. Bit too hot. Very quiet (spanish area) but frequent bus along the playa to buiser end. Great supermarker(mercadona) and commecial cente within walking distance. Did not want come home. So relaxing. The beach opposite house was really quiet even in august. great butcher infront of complex for that bbq when the sun goes down...pure bliss.

We too love the pool, and enjoying a bbq on the terrace washed down with a glass of local wine it is such a great finish to a day. And yes Juan the butcher or King Juan as he is locally known is one of the finest butchers you will find anywhere and the mercadona supermarket has one of the best presentations of fish at such low prices you will find anywhere.

Girly holiday fun in the sun!

Me and three friends just got back from Mojacar and we had the best time! The apartment is BEAUTIFUL, with an incredible roof terrace - perfect for private tanning. We were able to shop at the supermarket and have tastey BBQ's most evenings. There is so much to do in the area - we hired out bike's, walked up to the old town (amazing views and pretty little restaurants/bars), sunbathed on the beach and found an absolutely BANGING club full of other young people just along the playa called Mandala's! We had such a fun time and we were so sad to leave - will definitely be going back and staying in the exact same apartment!

Excellent Family Holiday Home

We are a family of 6 - 2 Adults and 4 teenagers and we all had a fab time in the villa and in the location. The accomodation was great for us, plenty of space with the roof terrace being a favourite for the teenage girls! The property is exactly as described, very comfortable with all excellent facilities to provide us all with a lovely holiday. Even in July the 'complex' was quite quiet and we were often the only ones in the pool. The fridge broke down but within an hour we had a brand new one - thank you to the agents who acted so quickly for us. We spent a few evenings combining eating and exploring the markets/shops in surrounding villages and even had the pleasure of visiting a local fiesta. We had a lovely full day in nearby water park and visiting Nijar ( the acclaimed prettiest village in spain) is a must. The teenagers found time out at the internet cafe a 10 min walk from the villa and enjoyed some of the local night life a short walk away.

We would love to go back to this area and villa for futher 'chill out' holidays and have no hesitation in recommending this villa.

This is a perfect property!

Just returned, having spend a lovely relaxing week at No 20, It is a perfect house for a relaxing holiday, for couples or families. We were 2 adults, 2 children, aged 11 & 16. very spacious house, very well equipped, lovely front bbq terrace area, roof terrace with sun loungers, great views. Sea views from the front of the house, mountains from the rear. Delightful gardens, so well tended, pool crystal clear. Walking distance (2mins on sea front to great Butcher and very convenient restaurant D'Angelos, great pizzas pasta, meat & fish. We will very definately return soon. Thank you Stuart & Nicola.

Family holiday to Mojacar

We booked this property to visit our parents, who live 40 mins in land. There were 3 adults and 3 under 5's in our party and the villa provided us with the amenities we needed. This villa was fantastic, the location is a 5 minute walk to the beach, which we visited daily, the pool at the complex was nearly always empty during the day & was very clean. The lounge/dining room/kitchen were well equipped and very well presented. The aircon in the bedrooms, was a real benefit in helping our children get to sleep at night.

We did have our own hire vehicle and was able to locate the local supermarket a short drive/walk away. There are plenty of places to visit nearby (if you really wanted to pull yourself away from the beach and pool),

The only minor negative is the stairs down to the terrace need another bannister to stop the children falling through, when descending. We had to supervise them coming up and down at all times..but thankfully all ok! We would recommend this villa, and will consider using it again ourselves.

Perfect holydays

This is a perfect house in a perfect place. We and our three girls (aged 10 and 8, the little ones are tweens) had a wonderful time. The girls couldn't come out of the pool and we just enjoyed looking at them from the patio.

The air conditioning makes the house wonderful even in August, the hottest month in Almeria. You can find everything you need in the house and Juan, the butcher, will provide you with the best meat. Also, we enjoyed "pescaito frito" in Garrucha.

Less than an hour away, the Cabo de Gata national park is full of very quiet and beautiful beaches to enjoy snorkling.

We can say that this has been one of our best holydays, something to remember or to repeat!

The property is located along Mojacar Playa going towards Garrucha. The area is a coastal sweep stretching from Garrucha to the end of Mojacar Playa where the sea meets the mountains of Capo de Gato. The Capo de Gato is a natural park and a place of dramatic mountains and stunning coastline scenery a real marvel for those wanting to explore, go walking and discover areas that are off the tourist map. Mojacar is about 60 Kilometres from Almeria in the South and serves as the nearest airport. Alicante is a two hour drive North and Murcia about 1.5 hours North. Mojacar itself is an original Moorish settlement that nestles on top of a steep promontory in the lee of dramatic mountains that cascade dramatically into the Mediterranean. Granada and The Alhambra is a two hour drive South West and Guadix about 1.5 hours along the same route into the hinterland and mountains. Immediately in the vicinity of Mojacar Playa is the fishing town of Garrucha with it's traditional working port
