2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Tranquil Field And Wood Views From This 2nd Floor Getaway
We look forward to welcoming you to the Coach House on Dutch Neck, with warm, natural colors and woodwork that evoke feelings of a cabin in the woods. In fact, the Coach House is located right next to the Peter's Pond Preserve, part of the Medomak Valley Land Trust, with direct access to the hiking trails and a beautiful 10 acre pond. Dutch Neck Road has its own public boat launch as well as the Osborn Finch Wildlife Sanctuary.
When you arrive, you will walk up the stairs into the spacious kitchen/living room. The open floor plan with windows all around and ceiling fans everywhere will ensure your comfort in the summer, while a gas stove will easily complement the baseboard heating in other seasons. Caribbean Heart Pine floors warm the kitchen, living room, bathroom and hallway, while cozy wall to wall carpeting will cushion your feet in the bedrooms. Each space has it's own thermostat so everyone will be comfortable.
Down the hall you will find the two bedrooms, each with queen beds, ceiling fans, big windows and plenty of drawer space. The bathroom has a beautifully stone tiled and glass enclosed shower, a large vanity, Kohler fixtures, and a full size LG washer and dryer. Towels and linens are provided.
When you don't feel like eating out, you will enjoy cooking in the large kitchen with plenty of granite counter space, full size range/oven, and microwave. The table has plenty of room to seat six people. The kitchen is equipped with all the dishes, utensils, glasses and mugs you will need, along with basic cooking necessities, and a Keurig coffee maker will make your mornings easier.
Just outside your door you will find a lovely patio with a Weber gas grill, table and chairs for 4 for your outdoor dining pleasure, and a cozy gliding love seat so you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet on Dutch Neck.
Waldoboro features some local favorites such as the Narrows Tavern, Borealis Bakery, and Moody's Diner. Within 20-40 minutes you can find wonderful lobster wharfs, and the quintessential small Maine coastal towns, Damariscotta, Rockland, Rockport, Boothbay Harbor and Camden.
We also have put together a binder of information for you on the local area - all the inside info on things to do and places to eat. And of course we are available to answer any questions that will help to make your Midcoast Maine vacation the most fun and memorable!

About Keith and Karen Langendorfer
Keith and I (Karen) bought our home here in Waldoboro in 2012, a beautiful 1810 Cape on 30 acres of land on the beautiful Medomak River. Keith is originally from Long Island, while Karen grew up in New Jersey. A frequent vacation destination for us, Maine was a natural place to move so that we could enjoy the beauty we fell in love with, year round.

Why Keith and Karen Langendorfer chose Waldoboro
Mid-Coast Maine has a wonderful mix of restaurants, shopping, culture and natural beauty. Our property has that natural beauty in abundance, with views down a gently sloping hill to the Medomak River, open fields, and beautiful woods.
What makes this House unique
We built the Coach House in 2015 on the foundation of an old barn, across the street from our house. It provides a cozy comfortable place where friends, family, and guests can stay - a wonderful "home base" for exploring the beauty and uniqueness of Mid-Coast Maine.

What a lovely find ! The Coach House was just perfect in every way!
Impeccable accommodations, comfy , yet current and a sense of 'home' in its presentation.
Traveling with my mother, sister and my four-legged angel, Henry can be a challenge, but the Coach House made us all feel most comfortable.
The Coach House even provided Henry with a dog crate; the best part was it's location . . tucked in an eave! I knew Henry felt right at home when he just sauntered into the crate to sleep!
Easy access to so much that the area has to offer, we all enjoyed planning our days at the kitchen table which included the charming town of Damriscotta, Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, the Farnsworth Museum and the coastal gems of Rockland, Rockport, Camden & Lincolnville.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at the Coach House and had so much fun putting together the meal. Karen was kind enough to provide a roasting pan for our turkey! Now that's thinking of everything!
Karen and Keith have a gem of a place and I would highly recommend it to others.
Perfect quiet retreat.
I almost don't want to share a review of his place because I don't want it to become too popular that I can't get a reservation next year! What a wonderful little apartment this is in coastal Maine. Very peaceful and off the beaten path while being close to amenities like grocery stores and sights. Everything has been thought of from a well equipped kitchen to comfortable bedding to make you stay pleasant. There's even a nice walking trail right at the driveway!
Extremely high quality property, beautifully furnished, many nice touches.
.This was the best property we've stayed at in years! In addition to all of the amenities, it was immaculately clean!! We were so comfortable there!!!!
Comfy Coach House
I'll start with I wish we could have stayed longer. The Coach House was everything we expected and more, we felt like we were home, not just in a rental property. The house was perfect for us and our two dogs and the location was perfect for day tripping. We especially loved Shaw's at New Harbor. Karen and Keith's property had all the essentials along with some fresh Maine blueberries as a special treat. We can't wait to go back!
Fantastic, cozy, clean, charming.
Really charming space in a quiet area. Very clean and well maintained. The owners were very easy to work with. Perfect location for day trips and then a cozy quiet space to retreat too. It was perfect for our family of four.
The perfect Maine vacation spot!
My wife and I and two daughters, 14 and 10, loved the Coach House in Woldoboro, Maine. It had a truly craftsman feel throughout the home. We like to cook, and there are all the cooking equipment you need to cook the local specialties, lobsters and steamer clams.
The location is perfect for day trips to local coastal villages like Camden, Wiscasset, and Rockport.
We like to hike and kayak and there are wonderful opportunities for both including trails right from the back yard of the Coach House.
Finally, the big screen TV was fun. It is a Smart TV so you can enjoy Netflix, etc.
Karen and Ken were very attentive and welcoming.
Really a great vacation.
