This is not a holiday rental it is my holiday home that I rent. I invested heavily in making it a place I wanted to stay in and somewhere guests would love when they came on holiday. I can promise you that you will love the apartment, feel at home in the apartment and happy that you chose it for your precious holiday. The development itself is beautiful - it is low-rise (3 levels only) and 70% of the space is beautiful manicured gardens. The development is secure - it has permanent 24 hour secrity and each block is gated with entrance only be fob, meaning your possessions are safe and kids can play around outside. The apartment is furnished with quality and cool furniture. It is comfortable but also luxurious and stylish. Very few rental properties are furnished anywhere near this spec. South facing terrace with sea view overlooking the swimming pool - get the sun all through the afternoon and evening. All the bits - sky tv, BBQ, iron and ironing board, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, knives etc Disable and easy access - a lift outside the door goes down to our parking space or the ground floor to go to the pool. Swimming pool with a kids pool and a lifeguard 1 minute from the beach Across the road from a complex that has a hairdressers, gym, restaurant and 9 hole golf course Beside Finca Cortesin, top 100 hotel in the world Less than 5 mins from the town of Sabinillas and the port of Duquesa and 10 mins from Estepona.

The apartment was very clean and had all the necessary amenities.
The view from balcony is lovely and the pool area great especially for kids.
Great welcome and the apartment manager answered questions straight away.

Lovely apartment in a scenic area
We stayed for 2 weeks in this apartment, two adults and two children (7 and 4).
Met with Suzanne after a 60 minute drive from the airport, she had text us upon arrival at Malaga and she met us just outside the complex.
She showed us where to park in the secure underground car park, and then took us up to the apartment where we were shown how to work everything and given a brief as to some of the nice places to visit and recommended restaurants. Nice touch that there was a bottle of red wine waiting for us.
One of the main things for me, was the availability and reliability of the wifi. Also the tv had netflix build in, so there were plenty of movie nights and binge watching series which we'd been meaning to do for ages.
The garage which comes with the parking space, had loads of stuff in there for us to use, such as deck chairs and loungers for the beach, inflatables, a pump, arm bands etc.
Worth noting, that this year was apparently the first year that you can't take inflatable lilos in to the pool. Some rule by the Spanish so that people can't injure themselves. It didn't detract from the holiday though.
The apartment overlooks the pool, and has a really decent gas BBQ so you can cook your own tapas whilst taking in the evening sun.
Pool was really nice, and was warm as well which was great for the kids. Always loungers available (first time in years I haven't had to wake up at 6am and put a towel down to reserve loungers by the pool). Neighbours were quiet, no rowdy people staggering home drunk and waking you up.
Handy to have a washing machine and dish washer.
Location is great, near to numerous towns and villages, restaurants and beaches. I'm not a golfer but I did visit the golf club to use their gym, which has decent equipment, but a little pricey at 7 euros 50 a go.
Suzanne was always on hand when we text her for information or recommendations. The complex is great and you can use different pools if you fancy a change. Met some lovely people on the complex (it's a combination of English and Spanish) and it's a really family friendly place to go. Probably once of the best holidays we've had, and would definitely go back there again.

My family and I spent a restful three and a half months in the Casares del Sol holiday apartment. We had a car rental (recommended) during our stay which enabled us to explore the surrounding areas at our leisure. Regular breakfasts on the Estepona promenade and our weekly trips for supplies to Lidls at Sabillinas and Morrisons of Gibraltar proved a favourites with all the family. A big thank you to Colin, Bob and Susanne, you could not have been more helpful in making our stay in Spain an enjoyable one.

Location excellent for exploring costal areas.
Nearby towns and restaurants excellent for meals out and snacks.

Lovely comfortable apartment in a very nice location.
This is a great apartment in a nice quiet location. Very secure, comfortable and well equipped with everything that is required. Situate in well kept garden grounds with a lovely swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. It is within easy walking distance of several restaurants and the beach.
Clean and well maintained property in good location.
My wife and I spent two months at Casares Del Sol and found the place met our needs very nicely. The property is sufficiently far from the crowds to make it quiet and peaceful, but close enough to enable us to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
It is clear that the owner takes pride in the apartment and it was clean and comfortably furnished. We were a little concerned when, during our first week there, the heating/air conditioning unit stopped working. However, this issue was dealt with quickly and everything worked perfectly thereafter. We asked many questions before our arrival and Colin responded quickly and fully to every one of them. He did everything he could to make us feel welcome.
We will certainly consider returning next year.
The apartment is part of the quality Casares Del Sol development with beautiful gardens, swimming pools and a stunning sea view from the balcony. It is perfectly located for families, couples or friends as it is a short walk to the beach and is close to lots of bars and restaurants in Sabinillas, the Port of Duquesa and Estepona. Offering great tourist facilities together with the best of traditional Spain on your doorstep, guests can enjoy the beautiful white village of Casares within a ten minute drive or party in Puerto Banus in 20 minutes. You can drive to Europe's windsurfing capital and the stunning beaches of Tarifa or visit the romantic as rustic town of Ronda within 40 minutes. There are children's play areas beside the apartment, at the beachfront in Sabinillas and in Estepona as well as the wonderful safari park at Selwo. If you just want to relax, eat and drink you can lounge by the beautiful pool, walk to great restaurants and bars either at the beachfront or casually at Casares Costa and in style at the wonderful 5 star Finca Cortesin hotel. If you love golf or just fancy 9 holes, the Championship course of Finca Cortesin that hosted the Volvo world matchplay tournament is next door and the 9 hole Casares Costa Golf course is right across from the apartment. If you need to workout on holiday there is also an excellent gym as part of the Casares Costa complex that cost just 6 euro. To get your groceries, there is a convenient petrol station/store at the bottom of the road and multiple supermarkets like Lidl and Mercadona within a 3 minute drive. Getting to the apartment is also easy either from Malaga airport (45 minutes) or Gibraltar airport (30 minutes). My apartment manager lives near the apartment and the complex is securely gated so you can relax and enjoy your holiday in a luxurious and safe environment knowing that we will fix any issues that may arise.
