About Orus Guerra
We bought this house in 2006 because our jobs were very close and we really liked the area. We liked it so much that we decided to purchase the house right next door. Living in the high desert we get to enjoy and appreciate all four seasons. Therefore, we take advantage of all our natural surrounding areas and activities.

Why Orus Guerra chose Snow Heights
This property was remodeled to our taste. We did 90% of the remodel ourselves. We purchased the house in 06 and was filmed for the HGTV show in 2008. They highlighted the before and after value after all the changes. This was going to be the house we wanted to live for a long time until we moved next door! We literally put our heart and sweat on making this little house a cozy living.
What makes this House unique
Two very nice benefits about this house: Great for working professionals with longer corporate stays! Its super easy to access from I-40 Its very closely convenient to the new Win Rock mall that is currently under construction. It is said to be one of the best attractions for retail in Albuquerque. Not to mention, you can easily ride a bike, long board or walk down to all the retail stores and restaurants located in Up Town.

Very nice place to stay!
Great place to stay!
Amazing place to stay at. Neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. Friends and I really enjoyed the game room. For those planning on renting this house I recommend it. Also if you have pets that travel with you, the owner allows pets which is awesome not many places do it.
Awesome Family Gathering
We used this property to meet our relatives halfway so we could each avoid a 13 hour drive. It was a good decision. There were 7 of us. Four adults and 3 children under 10. The open plan allowed us to watch tv, cook, and play all together. We had movie nights for the kids, and games for the adults. What fun and the house was perfect for the bunch of us. The garage game room was fun for the adults and the kids and perfect for watching an evening thunderstorm without getting wet (We’re from the Phoenix area and had not seen rain in 3 months or more). Some items could use some repair but they did not interfere with our fun. We ran out of tissue paper one morning and there was not any in the storage area and Orus had more for us in a few hours. While Orus was away most of our trip he answered texts any time we had questions. It was a truly magical stay and we would return here any time we decide to meet in Albuquerque!
We really enjoyed our stay ! The outside backyard fire pit area needs some TLC but it wasn’t the time of year to need its use ; the side yard looked relaxing , wish I had discovered it sooner ! The cat was a welcome addition ! I’d recommend this property to others
close to all we needed in uptown area. Great home.
Met our needs, but felt overpriced
Convenient location with easy access to I-40, close to dining, shopping, parks. Comfortable beds, open floor plan makes the common areas feel very roomy. Kids loved the game room (and the secret hatch to get there). Loved the outside spaces with precious shade. The house stays nice and cool with a fantastic AC. And the dining table is gorgeous! Wifi was speedy and reliable, TV with access to our Netflix account was great for the kids.
Although the nightly rate is comparable to other 3 bed/2 baths homes in ABQ, I feel like the house is between $30-50 per night overpriced. This is compared to places we've stayed at before and for the reasons below.
The bathroom off the master room is small enough that I would almost call this a one bathroom house. Probably should have just made the bathroom a sink and toilet as the shower isn't very comfortable to use and makes the whole room cramped.
We found the couch in the living room very uncomfortable (4 adults all had same opinion). And there is no alternative seating for the TV area.
The master bedroom is cramped and has no side tables. The headboard is cleverly crafted from an old door, but the design puts all table space up above the headboard, which is hard to reach while lying down.
And for a house that sleeps 7, the kitchen isn't stocked well enough for that many people (not enough glasses, bowls). And the gorgeous kitchen table, although large enough, only has enough seating for 5.
This house is near the walking path that leads you to the Win Rock cinema theatre and many restaurants and shopping stores.
