Hello Irene, as you know we have holidayed in villas for the past 5 years in Coral Bay and have always stayed in lovely villas in the heart of the resort. As our daughter was getting married in Paphos on the 3rd July we wanted a villa that was of exceptional quality and a bit more special in the heart of the resort...we were not disappointed! Kingfisher villa is of a very high standard and is equipped with everything you would need. I would like to thank you for your excellent booking service and Michael (Resort Manager) who visited us our first day and a very special thank you to Antoni (Gardener and pool man) who was always around and always checking everything was ok and offering advise regarding the area etc and to Andreas (the owner) who popped in a couple of times and was always just a phone call away should anything go wrong with the villa, which was real peace of mind. We also took your advice and booked 2 cars through CY-Breeze and they were also very professional and offered a great service. We also used Steve's taxis several times and again their service was excellent and we got to know a few of the drivers....we will certainly be recommending Kingfisher Villa and Sundance Villas to all of our friends and family....thank you all of you who made our holiday so easy and hassle free

Hi Irene,

We had a fabulous holiday thank you and could not recommend the Villa Kingfisher or 'Sundance Villas' highly enough. Nicole our Rep. was also really helpful to us. The villa is stunning and in a perfect location, a walk to the bars / restaurants and the Coral Bay beach.

Unfortunately we cannot remember the names of the restaurants we visited, the Italian opposite the Tex-Mex was our favourite though, and also the Japanese is highly recommended.

Thanks once again for a great holiday, we will be keeping an eye out for a villa for next year!

Best Regards

Vicky Bexleyheath

Hi Irene,

We had a lovely 2 weeks in Villa Kingfisher. All the facilities were very good. The villa was lovely a bit tricky with a 2 year old with the pool and the lovely marble floors but we knew this would be the case the grassed area was lovely for him to play on though, maybe this could be fenced off in someway. Toys at the villa were a god send, he was really entertained with these. We forgot DVDs so recommend people take some as Nicole said the owner does not supply as these tend to go missing (we did manage to pick up a few at a local car boot sale!). BBQ and kitchen facilities were great had a few nice nights in and breakfast in most days.

We had some lovely meals we ate at Samisens Japanese a couple of times. Kids loved the experience about 25 euros each for a main course, dessert and drinks so a bit pricy but nice for a special occasion or a one off. We also went to King Solomons a couple of times very nice and family friendly lovely food and breakfast and really good value. We ate at Palm Grove twice which we had heard mixed reviews from other people about but we had really lovely food here and about 20 euros for 2 courses and wine they also gave us a voucher for a free carafe of house wine which we used on our second visit. We had fish and chips at Santa Marina (typical brit tourists!) and they did a lovely english breakfast 3.5 euros including a hot drink or juice, more of a cafe but very good food. We never really had any bad meals wherever we ate and everyone was very friendly.

The kids loved the pool, Coral Bay beach was also very nice. We spent a day at the water park which was a bit pricey but NIcole got the kids who are 13 in for child prices which helped.

Nicole was very helpful and always contactable. The guy who looked after the pool was also very friendly and gave us quite a bit of local info. Car hire with Cy Breeze was a good service, dropped off car early for us the night before expected.

All in all we had a great time apart from our unexpected diversion home but at least we got here!

Many thanks , Janet Widnes

Dear Irene,

Sorry it has taken a little while to respond, but I have been away on business for the last two weeks and Linda leaves this kind of thing to me.

Anyway, enough of the excuses. There are though no excuses required in regard to our holiday with you in Cyprus. Our stay with your Company was in two words, 'sheer perfection'. The villa Kingfisher was wonderful and the two little problems we had, (the blinds and kettle) were put right by the owner straight away. Both he and your representative were polite, helpful and understanding, especially on the night we went out and miss-set the alarm.

There is no doubt we will come and stay with you again, if you let us and we will certainly recommend you to our friends.

Once again thanks for all you help. We will be in touch soon as myself and Linda are looking to come over again in March

Cheers

Jim B, Lowestoft

Dear Irene

Just wanted to say thank you for all your help - everything went very smoothly and the food hamper and wheelchair were much appreciated.

We enjoyed the Villa Kingfisher - it was very comfortable and conveniently located for the restaurants and shops in Coral Bay and ideal for a winter break when the temperatures were less predictable. We managed to fit a lot into our week - travelling to Nicosia and through the green line, as well as seeing all the wonderful snow in the mountains, not to mention all the historical and archaeological sites. It would have been nice if it had been a bit warmer to enable us to sit out more on the patio, but we managed to avoid most of the rain and enjoyed the winter sun - far better than the snow and ice we left at home.

Thanks again for your assistance - be happy to recommend both the villa and Sundance Villas to others.

Dear Irene,

Thank you very much for sorting out with the directions with me, a week last Saturday. It turned out my mother in law had them in her bag!

Villa Kingfisher was fabulous! We have been going on villa holidays for the last 12 years to all over Europe. Villa Kingfisher is by far the best we have ever had. 5 star luxury and a great position.

Once again my sincere thanks, Sundance Villas is a holiday company that does exactly what it says in the advert – very rare.

Regards,

Colin Whittingham, Loughborough

Why Mrs Irene Hare chose Pegia (Peyia)

Most large villas in Coral Bay are either too far away from beach or strip or in busy noisy positions, not in keeping with the villa.

The villa was perfect in every way - spacious and everything we needed and more

Verified Review

Dear Irene Just to let you know that we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cyprus at Villa Kingfisher, Coral Bay for the first week of September. The villa was perfect in every way - we were all amazed at how spacious it is and everything we needed and more had been thought of. We enjoyed the lilos and inflatables in the pool, which were an unexpected extra, the smoothie maker (which was handy in using up our fresh fruit at the end of the week) and needless to say the air-con which worked perfectly. It was so lovely to have a pool which was so lovely and warm to swim in either at 7.15am (just on our last morning!) and after dark and kept so lovely and clean too. The villa is a beautiful design in every way - the garden even having two shaded areas designed just perfectly so that when the sun moved into one the other then became shaded, which was useful as it was so warm. And finally, the barbecue area was as big as some kitchens, which we enjoyed too on one evening. Thank you also for the directions being so easy to follow and spot on, so that even in the dark we managed to find our way easily. Please could you pass on my thanks to Nicole for her help through the week - I did mean to text her before leaving, but didn't manage to within her working hours. Also Cy-Breeze were great for car rental - extremely helpful and all ran very smoothly thanks - lovely people. We found Peyia good for shopping when we wanted something other than Philipos supermarket in Coral Bay (which was really good anyway), but in Peyia centre we found an excellent bakers, butchers, and fruit/veg shop all very close to each other. We went to Kolios Winery on our last day and that was well worth the lovely drive - the views are stunning ...

What makes this villa unique

Villa Kingfisher is beautifully and quietly situated in a leafy no through lane, halfway between, 300m from the Coral Bay blue flag beach and the strip with its tavernas bars and shops. Car hire not essential and the villa and location suit all ages

A Fantastic Well Positioned Villa

  • 5 of 5

This villa was a fantastic find. It was managed in the UK by Irene Hare at Sundance Villas, an absolute professional. Great customer service from her and the owner Andreas. They could do no more to ensure a good holiday. Villa was as expected, pool a dream, and excellently placed for Coral Bay strip. You can' get everything you need within walking distance. Buses, supermarkets and of course loads of good restaurants. We would definitely recommend.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to submit your review for Sundance Villas 4 bedroom Villa Kingfisher situated between the Strip and the beach. Your kind comments are much appreciated, I am doing a job I love and I am lucky to be able to choose my villas, so I can offer a variety. The owner Andreas is the architect of these villas so he designed Villa Kingfisher larger than the others here, so it feels airy. He also designed 3 bedroom Villa Athena which is behind the Corallia beach. It is great to have villas to offer where clients can walk to the Strip and beach, and have a break from driving. Hope to hear from you again soon and sorry about the UK rainy weather that you have returned to! Irene, Owner of Sundance Villas

We went to Kolios Winery and that was well worth the lovely drive - the views are stunning from the restaurant and the food was delicious - as for the wine it was very much enjoyed by all (except the driver, of course).

We also loved the views from the Baths of Aphrodite Taverna and the fish meze there was absolutely delicious.

And finally, we had a superb day on the Wave Dancer boat - the lady we booked with gave us most generous discounts and assured me that if Jonathan (with his mobility problems) wanted to swim off the back of the boat, the crew would do everything to make sure he could. The crew were amazing and so strong - lifting him on a chair from one end of the boat to the other and helping him out of the sea by clearing the back of the boat when he was ready to get out and lowering it right down into the water and assisting him out. They took great care of him and whenever he moved, there was someone there straightaway to help him. The food was lovely and plentiful and the boat was spic and span.

And last but by no means least, of course, Irene - all your most efficient and very prompt assistance whenever required.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking time to write such an interesting review on Villa Kingfisher and of your Coral Bay/Paphos holiday in general. This type of feedback is so rewarding for us to receive. Villa Kingfisher was built and furnished for the owners to use, with their young family, it was not built for rent. But in reality the owners were too busy to use it, so we are pleased to have such a fabulously located luxurious villa in our portfolio. Of course it books up early as we have many repeat clients, but it is worth it, being just 5 minutes walk to the Strip and the blue flag Coral Bay Beach, and clients can get a complete break from driving too. To anyone wanting to book a boat trip, we find the family run Wavedancer is superior. Nicole has put some clips on our Facebook page. We hope to hear from you all again in the not too distant future, Irene.

Absolute heaven.

We all had a wonderful time in Coral Bay. The Villa Kingfisher is pure luxury. It looked even nicer and bigger than the pictures. Everywhere was so clean and there was a welcome hamper with everything you need to start your holiday without having to rush out to the supermarket. We'd recommend it to anyone. We had a range of ages with us,2 20 yr olds and 2 15 yr olds it's suited all of them we also had a 2 yr old with us and it was great for her too. There was a lot of toys for a range of ages and having the large steps going into the pool was good too as she could sit on them and play while still being in the water. The x box was well used by the older ones. The pool man/ Gardner was great. We have never stayed in a villa before where the pool is so well looked after. He was round daily testing the water and cleaning it. The Villa Kingfisher is ideal for family's. We made good use of the BBQ area and the lovely seating outside. Wouldn't hesitate about coming back here again and we'd highly recommend Sundance Villas. Irene was always at the end of the phone or e-mail to help us with our booking of our holiday or for answering any questions we had. We were also sent a really useful and interesting information pack about Cyprus and differents places around Coral Bay. This was our 3rd visit to Coral Bay and it didn't disappoint . Thank You for a lovely holiday.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking time to leave this lovely review. Villa Kingfisher is in the centre of Coral Bay, quietly located between the Strip with its excellent restaurants, bars and shops, and the Blue Flag Coral Bay Beach. So both are walking distance for everyone. Many of our clients who stay here have a break from driving. We believe first impressions are so important, so we always include a generous hamper with wine, bacon eggs etc. It is my pleasure to help with questions and queries, and we always provide a Cyprus General Information, which we receive good feedback on. We look forward to hearing from you again in the not too distant future! Now booking for 2013 :-) Irene

This was our fourth Villa holiday in Coral Bay. We had been trying to find a good quality villa, within easy walking distance of the main strip, but within a quiet area. Villa Kingfisher is ideal. It's an impressive, very well maintained property with all the excellent facilities mentioned in the description. (Good spec. kitchen, nice barbecue area, pleasant shaded outside eating area, good sized bedrooms, quality air conditioning units in all rooms) The pool man/gardener does a first class job and the cleaners are extremely thorough. The Villa owner is very approachable and responds very quickly to any problems. Added bonuses - lots of pool toys and childrens games at the property and drawers of books in the living area. Fine mesh screens between the outside shutters and windows, which can be pulled across when you want to leave windows and doors open - allows the sun in but keeps flies, etc out.

I would recommend this Villa to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in a lovely property, but with the added bonus of a very short walk to the nearby restuarants (recommend Coral King for varied menu at reasonable costs and perhaps Andreas for that 'special' occasion) and bars, many of which provide entertainment.

The company is very easy to deal with and gives you alot of information before hand about Cyprus and its customs. When you get there the Villa looks BETTER than the pictures. Everything is very well equipped, to a very high spec. and is very well maintained. You even recieve a welcome hamper including all the vitals (great when you arrive when none of the shops are open!). Outside, the pool and surrounding area looks excellant and v. clean and even has its own lemon tree which was fruiting while we were there! at night the lights surrounding the pool and in the pool let you continue to enjoy the private surrounding as well as having a few cheeky cocktails! Nicole, our dedicated rep. was very friendly and always on the other end of her phone if you needed anything organising, she even calls you the first night to organise a visit to make sure you have all settled in fine!

the posistion of the villa is down a road off the main strip (unlit), but there was never any problems with this as its v. quiet with no noise at night from pubs and restaurants while everything being soo close by. Even if you do get bored of the Coral Bay area the bus is v. regular and is only €1 for any journey (including to Paphos) and €2 for a day ticket! Overall, a very enjoyable holiday and would not hesitate recommending Sundance Villas or Villa Kingfisher to anybody!!!

Exceptional location in centre of Coral Bay, between the Coral Bay Strip with its shops, restaurants and bars, and the Blue Flag Coal Bay Beach. Not to be confused with villas on outskirts. LOCAL AREA

Perfect for clients who want to be quietly located yet walking distance to the 2 Blue Flag beaches in Coral Bay

and the Coral Bay Strip.

Tel: (+44) (0)20 8440 6219 www.sundancevillas.co.uk Sundance Villas Ltd. Registered in England 5315631

The Coral Bay strip is just 500m and offers a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops, including clients

favourite Samisen, a lively Japanese where the chef cooks in front of you and entertains you at the same time.

If you are a large party, you may like to ask Nicole your Rep to pre book your table.

For the village experience you may like to visit Peyia, 10 minutes’ drive away. Clients favourite Peyia tavern is at

the top of the hill, good for meze, and pre book to get a table on the terrace. Papantoniou bakery is halfway up

the hill and sells delicious seeded breads and other goodies including Sundance Villas favourite sesame paste

flat cake pronounced “tashinobitta”.

The bus stops for both Corallia Blue Flag sandy beach and Paphos harbour are 5 minutes’ walk and they run

every 10 minutes, with a day pass being just 3 Euro. This regular bus route means that car hire is not essential

here, although some clients have a car delivered partway through the holiday. You drive on the left like UK and

road signs are in English.

Paphos Town and bars and restaurants at Tombs of the Kings are a short bus ride or drive, and Paphos Airport

transfer time is 35 minutes.

By contrast to Coral Bay resort, the other direction towards Sea Caves is extremely pretty, rural and protected

from development. Narrow lanes take you to the pretty coastline, and there are a handful of bars and taverns

right next to the sea, including Oniro by the Sea and family friendly Sea Caves Tavern with a play area for

children. Both wonderful at sunset. The Akamas National Park is further, and a good way to explore this and

really find out about it is by jeep excursion which Nicole your local Representative can arrange at a discounted

rate. It is bumpy, hot and fun.

If it is hot, don’t forget you can use the 1 Euro bus to take you past Coral Bay to the Corallia Blue Flag beach for a

change. It has a fish tavern there but no decking. Take fishing nets here if you have young children. Water

Parks: There is a large water park on the other side of Paphos. However, 2 hotels on the coast road going back

to Paphos, King Evelthon and Laura Beach, have built mini water parks on the side of their hotels, and they are

open to non-residents. Perfect to get younger children accustomed to this. See my Blog.

I will send you lots more information on Cyprus before you go.
