About Alex Pringle
My wife, Susan, and I live in Florida, but we have been coming to Franklin, NC, for many years because we love the location and the people are so friendly. We have been married for 28 years. I am an ex-professional soccer player born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Susan is a native Floridian and has worked as a paralegal her entire career.

Why Alex Pringle chose Franklin
We purchased this property primarily because of the central location and the awesome mountain views.

Charming and Well Located Farmhouse
We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse and will definitely be choosing this spot when thinking about a return to the Franklin area. It was conveniently located for day trips to Highlands, hiking trips to Nantahala, shopping in downtown Franklin, and just taking in the natural beauty of the area. Farmhouse was exactly as advertised and Alex was a great host.
Loved Everything About It
This just might be the cutest, coziest cabin my wife and I have ever stayed in. We absolutely fell in love with this little slice of mountain paradise...and will definitely be back.
What a wonderful farmhouse! I really could have lived there but Im sure the owners like their little house!!! Its just lovely. Seeing all the critters each day was so awesome Such beauty and comfort! It made our task in NC so much easier when we knew that at the end of each day we had this warm and comfortable "home" to come back to! If you go to NC and have the opportunity, please stay at this awesome home, it will make your visit perfect!!!
The property was as pictured online and was very accessible to surrounding areas.
The was the perfect weekend getaway. The farmhouse was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed. Very secluded and cozy. We loved our stay here and will return!
The farmhouse is located about 10 minutes from Main Street Franklin, 20 minutes from Clayton, GA, and about 30 minutes to Highlands. We recommend the Sunset for breakfast, Gazebo for lunch, and Root and Barrel, Café Rel and Thai Paradise for dinner in Franklin. Mulligan's is a local sports pub with good food. A day trip up Highway 64 past the lakes and waterfalls to Highlands is a must see drive. If you are looking for antiques, there are several good antique shops in Franklin, Dillard and Clayton. The nearby area has a lot of great hiking trails for you to explore. You can also enjoy zip lining and sledding in the winter in Scaly Mt.
