Dear Irene ,
I just want to say a very big thank you to you for making my stay in Cyprus so perfect. I was in desperate need of peace and tranquility, I found this and more! The villa was perfect and as you said secluded but not isolated, so as a woman travelling alone I felt very safe. The owners made me feel very welcome and the pre ordered shopping meant I could settle in and relax as soon as I arrived. The only thing I can fault is that I booked for a week and not longer, so I would love to return in September !!! I will be in touch shortly to see if this is possible.
PS. Your choice in wine (red Status 99 Kolios winery) was perfect too x
We had a lovely time at Villa Aphrodite. Socrates and Charoulla were there to welcome us complete with cake. The villa is gorgeous and the setting was dreamy. There was hardly anyone else around and mostly we had the beach to ourselves. One of the highlights was walking the Aphrodite nature trail in the Akamas park - the views were breathtaking.
The villa was both spic and span and well equipped and stocked with food to get us comfortably started.
New kitchen chairs
The weather was perfect, hotter than expected and I only saw one mosquito. April seems like a perfect time to visit.
I'd have no difficulty recommending Sundance Villas to friends or family and we would certainly consider coming back.
Thank you for recommending Villa Aphrodite. Our time there has given us many delightful memories.
The villa was excellent and the welcome pack was one of the best we have ever had. The cake from the owners was huge and lasted all week. A lovely touch. The car hire company was very good. The restaurants in Latchi are all very good. We had some lovely meals in Y & P, Faro's and Molos
We would certainly use Sundance Villas again.

We had a lovely time, although as expected it was very hot.
The Villa was lovely, particularly the pool and outside areas, the beach was also a big plus being so close by. It's a quiet spot so I think it would suite both couples and families. We particularly enjoyed Latchi in the evenings, although there are some nice restaurants in Polis too. The doughnut van was brilliant !
I think our highlight was hiring a boat one afternoon and exploring the coastline and stopping off at the blue lagoon. We also enjoyed our drive to Pomos where we had an excellent lunch. On the way at Argaka we stopped off at some waymarked trails, too hot to go far when we arrived, but early morning or late afternoon would be ideal. The longest walk was about 10k, but there were others of 2/3k.
We visited the Waterpark at Paphos which was another highlight. Although not overly big, there were very few queues, and my daughter Amy, who's 9, was able to go on all but a few. It's the first time she's really enjoyed a waterpark.
Please let the owners know we had a great time, and that we very much enjoyed the cake.
We both had a very relaxing holiday at the villa Aphrodite. Everything we needed was there ie lovely selection of food and wine.
We also had beach towels as well. The villa was very clean spacious and airy.
We felt the villa would be suitable for couples or families, because of it's fabulous location, its quiet and peaceful but only 5 min drive into Latchi.
The owners Charroulla and Socrates were very welcoming and friendly Charroulla even baked us TWO large cakes DELICIOUS.
The following Sunday they invited us both down to Latchi for a drink and ice cream.
Nicole texted to let us know when she was visiting and she showed us how to change the channel to dvd on the tv and was very helpful.
We recommend the Aphrodite Restaurant a short drive down the road from the villa, had the best moussaka I have tasted and the prices are reasonable.
Denos was pleased with the photo of his restaurant we passed onto him from you.
WOULD RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN TO VILLA APHRODITE!!

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Aphrodite.
Everything was better than expected - the position of the villa, the views and the design and fittings inside.
It was so quiet and relaxing - only the sound of the birds and a few little fishing boats. I guess it would get busier during July and August.
We met Charoullah and Socrates who were very welcoming and made us a delicious cake which lasted most of the week. Every time I went upstairs I could not believe the views of the sea from the bedroom windows - I don't think you would better it anywhere and also to be so close to such a lovely beach. What more can I say - we would love to return.... four new villas have been built in front - but luckily it does not really spoil the views at all because Aphrodite stands higher and in such a lovely position.
Thank you for all your help and also Nicole who contacted us on arrival and visited the following morning to answer any questions.
I will certainly be recommending it to all my friends.
With best wishes
Ed and Judi Kelly
Many many thanks for one of our best holidays ever.
We first saw this beautiful coastline of Cyprus in June 09 from a boat trip to the blue lagoon, which was amazing. It was a glass bottom boat and the turquoise water was so inviting, we both climbed down the steps and had a lovely swim, even though we hadn't intended to. When we got back to Latchi we decided to drive the 10 mins down towards the Baths of Aphrodite to look for somewhere to stay next time, and we enjoyed a cold beer in the taverna there.
All around people were tucking in to their fish meze and enjoying spectacular coastal views. There are some big villas along this coast but we liked the look and location of Villa Aphrodite and took a note of the contact details. Irene was very helpful and as we were just 2 persons she gave us a lower rate. When we arrived the owner was so welcoming, we really felt at home, and she left us with a lovely cake and our pool towels. The weather in October was much better than usual, and the pool and sea were really warm.
The villa is comfortable and had everything we needed. Most days we had this lovely beach to ourselves, and you reach it by a track in front of the villa. Some evenings we could hear the tinkling of a piano, probably from the Anassa Hotel at the far end of the beach. After a couple of bad years this holiday really recharged our batteries and we would definitely go back. A big thank you to Dinos and family at Baths of Aphrodite Taverna and to all at Sundance Villas. And to Nicole our Rep who gave us lots of helpful advice and maps
Just returned from our holiday in Cyprus staying at the Aphrodite Villa. This Villa was absolutely lovely. We were met by the owner who was friendly and welcoming, and had baked a lovely cake for us and put a vase full of red roses on the table. The Villa was decorated to a high standard and the furniture and fittings exceptional a very comfortable place to be. The view from the bedroom balcony is exceptional and to the left, is beautiful. We had a lovely time and wished we had booked two weeks. We did ask Nicole if the villa was booked from 29th, it was so we couldn’t extend our stay. We would consider booking for next year for 2 weeks.
Renting property in Cyprus since around 1988. I also choose a villa rental for my own holidays, which is a big advantage in running my business, as I know 1st impressions are so important, hamper in fridge, linen, towels, soap at every basin, cleaning materials, toilet rolls in every w.c., .. to make it home from home.
This lovely traditional house is unique on this exclusive coastline, which is protected from development. The house is full of character and the poolside secluded by a thick hedge. I take all the bookings here, as I do for all my villas. I offer lower 2 person rates here and on all properties, including 4 bedroom Villa Amorosa next door, which also has a baby pool
50m to undeveloped beach, hear the sound of the sea, fantastic sea views, balcony with far reaching sea views, no busy roads, away from it all location, cake from owner and lovely hamper with wine, 2 person reduced rates
We had a wonderful week at the villa. We know that area of Cyprus and it was a very good location with privacy and yet close to places we could visit. The villa is lovely and we particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sun go down.
Our stay at the aphrodite in july was fantastic the villa was nice and spacious very clean and modern, the pool was just how i like it private and secluded but with magnificant views of the sea, i would recommend this villa to anyone be it a couple or family you wont be disappointed. Bliss.

An artistically and lovingly decorated 2-bedroomed villa in our favourite spot in Cyprus...on the Arkamas peninsular, near Aphrodite's Pool.
It is close to one of the best and least crowded beaches..particularly in June!
Two minor drawbacks, which only really would affect 4 adults...only one bathroom, and a far from powerful shower.
Another suggestion would be ceiling fans in the bedrooms...but only because, like a few brits, we hate air-conditioning, which the villa of course has.
Other than that, the villa is very well equipped. We particularly admired the plentiful large thick towels and embroidered sheets!
The owners, Socrates and Charoulla (apologies re spelling!) are lovely people, very concerned that everything is ok.
Socrates built the villa himself, and Charoulla cleans it, with the help of her delightful friend, who also translates if nec!
The garden is very private and the pool clean.
A problem with some building noise from nearby, which the owners and agents were not aware of and could not be blamed for, was quickly dealt with by Michael, the Cyprus agent, Irene, who arranged the rental in the UK, and the owners themselves, who drove quite a distance to reassure us.
Polis is the nearest small town, which has a delightful central area of small shops and tavernas. Do go to Moustakalis restaurant...he and his father don't seem to have aged in 10 yrs+, and their moustaches flourish! The food and service is superb.
The taverna close to Aphrodite's Pool has good food and a lovely view, but can get busy with coaches etc.
Aphrodite Beach taverna is a delight for a cool place to sit, eat and drink on a hot day, and one can swim and sunbathe there too.
Latsi, the closest village, is great for stocking up, with a few "supermarkets". It's virtually hidden harbour has so improved from our first visit! There are tavernas/restaurants all along the front. Sadly there are now 1 or 2 folk who pop out as one passes to lure one in. This has the opposite affect on us!
The drive through Polis and around the bay to Pomos is lovely. Go to Kannelli's (not sure re name) taverna over a small beach and harbour.
Then over the mountain to Kato Pyrgos (SP?) and the N. Cyprus border.
Again we were treated as friends where ever we went.
The owners are building a 4 bedroomed villa next to Aphrodite.
I'm sure it will be stunning! I would recommend both villas.
Thanks to all concerned, and may we see them again in the future.
Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert!

Beach/sea: 50m, Latchi: 2.3 km, Baths of Aphrodite: 2.3 km, Shop: 2.3 km, 2 x Restaurant: 600m, Polis: 5 km.
The villa is idyllically situated within a pretty garden, and enjoys a beach side position next to the undeveloped 2 km beach. Absolutely breathtaking sea views towards the Akamas National Park and Chrysochou Bay and of course fabulous sunsets. The private pool is secluded by a thick hedge, and there is a pretty rose garden at the front. Within easy striking distance of Latchi harbour in one direction, with its excellent fish tavernas and selection of shops/supermarkets,etc, and the Baths of Aphrodite and the Akamas National Park in the other. Reached via a track leading from the coast road to the beach, the location of this simply furnished house is private yet not isolated. Late deals available on all villas. Pay securely by Credit or Debit card, by BACS or in Euro.
This area of coastline is where people come to sample a fish meze, find the hidden undeveloped beaches, view the Baths of Aphrodite or visit the beautiful wild Akamas National Park with its crystal clear Blue Lagoon and variety of walking trails. The Baths of Aphrodite is the start of the Akamas National Park, (5 minutes’ drive), and there is free parking, and if you are lucky you will see the resident donkey. The small beach here was improved in 2015, and is situated below the Baths of Aphrodite fish tavern run by Dinos. The far reaching coastal views are magnificent, the sea clear enough for snorkelling, and there are sun loungers, showers and WC. The Baths of Aphrodite tavern is a romantic location in the evening too, being off the beaten track and the only building here. The nightlife consists of night birds swooping around catching insects that are attracted to the spotlights, and you may be lucky enough to see the headlights of scuba divers below too, as they practise night dives here due to the clear water.
Yiannakis beach tavern is 600m and Takkas beach tavern is 1km from the villa, and they serve a variety of seafood and Greek specialities including kleftiko (slow cooked lamb). You can also just stop for a drink and enjoy the wonderful sea views or for a swim at the small beaches.
5 minutes’ drive towards Polis brings you to the Latchi Marina, with its selection of shops and supermarkets, and renowned for the excellent water's edge fish tavernas (including clients favourite Y&P next to the pretty harbourmaster's house) where you may select your fish from the ice display. You can hire a small boat with cool box from Latchi, or take a relaxing mini cruise at our discounted prices to the beautiful turquoise clear waters of the Blue Lagoon.
Despite being a town, Polis (5km) has retained the relaxed feel of a village, and there are many locals as well as tourists. It offers an interesting mix of old and new, and a wide variety of shops including Papantoniou supermarket, restaurants (including clients’ favourites Arsinoe Fish Tavern, lively Moustakallis Tavern and serene In Town Restaurant) and ATM machines. You can find lots of easy parking and it is also a lovely place for a wander and shopping in the pedestrianised area.
Twilight is one of my favourite times here around the Square, with the changing colours of the old stone buildings housing the Cafes and restaurants. Waiters are busy dressing the outside tables, lighting tea lights, plumping up the cushions, offering happy hour drinks etc. A wonderful spot to enjoy the slow Cypriot pace of life, sit back and people watch.
I will send you lots more information on Cyprus before you go.
