High specification luxury apartment within a renovated victorian listed building

Vellum Court is a stunning luxury holiday apartment within a Grade II listing building. Since it's renovation and modernization it has been used as a luxury holiday home. The accommodation consists of a large open plan kitchen and living area, master bedroom with en-suite, large second bedroom (with sloping roof), modern bathroom and a small third room.

Access to Vellum Court is via a remote control key which will open the main gates to the parking area where there is a single reserved space for the apartment. Walk through the passage way into the enclosed complex of ten character converted properties.

Vellum Court is a first floor apartment but it has it's own front door. Walk up the stairs and the family bathroom can be found on the right hand side with bath/shower, toilet, heated towel rail and basin.

Enter the main living area which is a huge open plan living room, dinning area and well equipped kitchen. There is a feeling of space in this room with it's magnificent high beamed ceiling and four large windows. The kitchen boasts brand new and high specification appliances and is finished with a granite worktop and French oak doors on the units.

Bedroom one is a double bedroom that benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a twin bedded room with a large floor plan but please be aware this room has a slopping ceiling which drops off to become very low to one side. Bedroom three is very small but full of character.

Super Apartment

The apartment in Havant is perfectly located for exploring Hampshire and West Sussex. We didn't have to travel more than 20 minutes to any destination. Havant town centre is a short walk where you can access all the local amenities.

The apartment itself is large with all the facilities needed (except a tumble drier) for a family. It is tastefully decorated and warm, and has all the charm of a Grade 2 listed building. I would certainly recommend this accommodation.

Easy access to town centre and a good base for other destinations in driving distance. Accommodation clean, comfortable and warm! Children enjoyed games, dvds and books. Great space and really enjoyed our break. Friendly and helpful owner. 😁

Just a perfect place to stay

I have stayed here a few times and everything is easy comfortable and excellent quality.

The owner is so very helpful but not intrusive as some VRBO owners can be and nothing is too much trouble.

Very enjoyable stay

Had a lovely week here August bank holiday weekend. The apartment is a real home from home with all mod cons and very comfortable. The owners have added plenty of personal touches such as providing books , video games and dvd's for guests to use. All furniture and appliances are of good quality and the gated community gives a feeling of security. It is very close to supermarkets , pubs and shops and very convenient to the nearby main road into Portsmouth and surrounding areas. The owners are easy to deal with and we found the whole booking experience stress free. We felt that the twin room is more suitable for children rather than adults as it has a sloping ceiling but our adult sized teenager was quite comfortable in the third single bedroom. The master bedroom has a lovely en suite shower room and is very spacious. The open plan living space is fantastic. It would not suit a family with anyone who has difficulty with stairs though as it is on the first floor of the converted building.

Spacious, centrally located apartment.

A great place to base yourself to discover the south coast. Well located to visit Portsmouth harbour and outlet shopping. Lovely beach nearby at West Wittering and close to Arundel castle. Nearby parkrun in Staunton Park for a Saturday morning run. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent apartment for five people

We had four adults and a 3 years old child staying for a hot summer week in Vellum Court. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped and we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was safe for a small child and the toys that were in the place were well appreciated.

The neighborhood was quiet yet there was still a short walk to city centre and shops.

When we had questions about the apartment and the arrival the renter answered us quickly and gave us all the information we wanted.

We really enjoyed our time in Vellum Court and would gladly recommend the place.

The apartment is within a quiet residential area only a matter of minutes walk from Havant town centre, which provides all the common high street stores, an open air market, Waitrose and a number of coffee shops.

Hayling Island is a 5 minute drive away accross the Langstone harbour bridge and is a quaint seaside resort with a light railway, fabulous walks, golf, riding, funfair, tennis, swimming, water sports, Olympic sailing club and fishing.

Other local tourist attractions include HMS Victory, HMS Warrior & The Mary Rose Museum at Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays with its excellent shopping, the Roman archaeological site of Fishbourne, Staunton Country Park, Weald and Downland open air museum at Singleton and Bosham Art Gallery and Craft Centre.
