About Jeff Rowell

I was raised near the water and I have always kept a place on the water somewhere. When not working, I am at the beach or the lake.

Jeff Rowell purchased this cottage in 2005

Why Jeff Rowell chose Santa Rosa Beach

I love the scenic 30A area. It is less dense than other areas and has that 'old Florida' feel.

What makes this cottage unique

In addition to access to the beach, the cottage and the community has a very private and relaxed feel to it.

GOOD TO GO Beach Cottage

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have stayed at Good To Go on several occasions, and each time have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach cottage is beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the basic amenities. The location is within walking distance of the beach and many shopping and restaurant areas. We have always found Good To Go to be immaculate without any flaw. We look forward to staying again at Good To Go and would definitely recommend to friends.

GOOD TO GO - our getaway weekend at the beach

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I traveled to the Santa Rosa area the weekend of the Seaside Wine Festival (Nov 7-9). It was our first visit to the Alabama gulf coast - we stayed in this charming cottage called Good to Go. The house itself was comfortable and cozy - with a nice size kitchen and family room area decorated in a way that made us feel right at home, complete with blankets for TV/Movie watching. The bedrooms upstairs were roomy - we used the master complete with TV and a nice size bathroom attached. The location is great - a 10 minute walk to the beach through the village - well kept homes throughout. We explored Rosemary Beach as well as Seaside - easy drive down 30A. We'd recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away, and were very pleased and satisfied with our stay.

Wonderful family outing

  • 4 of 5

What a pleasant vacation. The property was 100% as advertised; low key, family friendly neighborhood, a short distance from less crowded areas of the beach, in the heart of 30A. All necessary amenities were provided. An excellent choice for a laid back week on the Emerald Coast. Owners were pleasant and responsive. I'll be back.

Thank you!

A fun/relaxing visit

  • 5 of 5

Good-To-Go (great name for a beach cottage) and Old Florida Village were just as advertised -- a spacious, quiet cottage in a neighborhood conveniently located just off 30-A. A well-maintained public beach access is a short walk across 30-A (the access has an adequate parking lot if you have too much beach gear to carry). A number of good restaurants are only a short drive away or you can grab some fresh seafood and cook/grill at Good-To-Go. My wife and I would definitely rent this place again.

Solid, well worth the time & money

  • 4 of 5

This was our 3rd visit to G-T-G. Neighborhood is quiet and child friendly. The community is relaxing and perfect for family. Proximity to the finest beaches in NW Florida is excellent, short of being on the sand. The house was well maintained and properly provisioned, as always. We enjoyed the nights we stayed in a cooked and then relaxed on the porch. Pet friendly. Child friendly, safe and quiet: a comfort in 2014.

Loved this gem!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my family and it was the perfect home! The downstairs layout is very open and great for cooking and spending time together. The bedroom and bathroom I had was very comfortable and clean. You can walk to the beach or ride a bike to the beach. Also, the bike and jogging trail are just steps away. I live in Fort Lauderdale and absolutely loved spending time at Good to Go!
