Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location
Apartment is in a great location with a fantastic view. The apartment is very clean with everything you could need. Easy stroll to town and local walks, no need to get in the car. Highly recommended.
Very pleasant flat, great views, very close to the action!
Lovely flat, very clean, nice kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Very close to the Bowness piers. Recommend!
A week at Bowness-on-Windermere
A very pleasant and comfortable place, well situated for the southern lakes.
Peaceful scenic views from fabulous accommodation and short walk into village. Very comfortable stay.
What a beautiful view
Our accommodation for four adults was good with nice large living room with the most beautiful view over Lake Windermere just up above the town.
Our only gripe was that when we went to use the grilling tray the last clients must have forgotten to clean it and the cleaner must have missed it also.
Lovely Brantfield House
Lovely house which had everything you needed it was home from home, Location couldn’t have been better and view from lounge window was breathtaking. We enjoyed the Angel Inn for a drink in the evening also which is just down the little path on the right.
Next time we are in the Lake District we will definitely stay here again. Thankyou Christine.
Bowness is a large village on the edge of Lake Windermere. The lake offers all manor of watersports including sailing and canoeing, there are details of boat hire in the apartment. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and a cinema within walking distance. Bowness is the home of the Beatrix Potter museum and a short car journey from the writer's home.
For the walker there are details of walks from the doorstep up onto Brantfell behind the house.
This is an ideal base for exploring the Lake District
