About Jackie Caddick
Croeso and welcome to Castleview Cottage! Please do visit our website for lots more information on our home and local area. We love to welcome guests to our homes and share the beautiful surroundings and nature. My working life has been dedicated to cleaning our world's oceans of marine debris and plastics - as a family we try our best to live in a sustainable way and tread carefully on our planet. We love nature, mountain biking, sailing, walking, exploring the world in our early 70's VW bus.
Jackie Caddick purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Jackie Caddick chose Conwy
We spent a long time looking for the perfect fisherman's cottage in Conwy within the town walls but without passing traffic . It also had to have the 'wow' factor. As soon as we got a glimpse of the view from the kitchen we were sold! The view from the roof terrace is even better! We maximised that unique view with the installation of full length windows in the kitchen (knocking through 2 foot solid stone walls). The house was completely renovated whilst trying to keep the character of the 200 year old cottage. We believe Conwy is the perfect base to enjoy everything on offer in North Wales - unbeatable coastal and mountain walks, plenty of attractions within a short walk or drive, beautiful beaches and Snowdonia National Park on our doorstep.
What makes this Cottage unique
Unique unbelievable views! Location! Location! Location! Castleview is within the Medieval walls of Conwy - the harbour and local attractions are just a short stroll away. Real fire - a must for cosy nights in and you will find it set ready for you to light!

Charming, well appointed, spotless cottage.
My husband, daughter and I stayed here 3 nights. We loved the cottage. It was well decorated. Nice nautical touches. Sitting room very comfortable and we had a fire in the fireplace one night thanks to the owner leaving us a duraflame log. Kitchen was great with so much light and appliances were very new and easy to use. Master bedroom large, airy , good bed , plenty of closet space. We had a great time there with our daughter. Loved Wales and Conwy in particular. Would go back any time. People were friendly to us and so polite. I hope we can return in the summer and continue our search for our Welsh heritage! Great place to stay.
