About Betty & Ben Ricciardi
My husband first visited the Bitterroot Valley in the early 1970's. He fell love with the area and brought me here in 1990. We both fell in love and moved out in 1995. We owned 18 log cabin in Maine that were over 100 years old. Hospitality is second nature to us. We enjoy sharing the beautiful surroundings that we enjoy so much. We live onsite in a distant cabin and are available if needed.
Betty & Ben Ricciardi purchased this Cabin in 1995

we had a awesome time at the cabin. we enjoyed the cabin very much. it is very roomy and felt like home. it was so peace full to sit, and sleep in the cabin and listen to the river right out back. we rode on the forest service roads with our 4 wheeler, it saw so beautiful. there was wild life right in the back yard it was such a awesome stay. betty and ben are wonderful hosts. thank you so much for the great vacation.
We had a great 2 night stay at this lovely cabin right on the West Fork. Betty was very helpful in getting us settled and was kind to let us have our 12 year old lab stay with us. We look forward to a return visit sometime soon.
Nature with all the comforts of home!
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Ricciardi's cabin home. Perfect hosts! Beautifully maintained home and the lawn was like a golf course! We saw elk, trout, and all sorts of birds. This is located off the beaten path, but close to restaurants if needed. We chose to grill out on the wrap around deck. Morning coffee was perfect out on the deck! We will be back!
Terrific place! Beautiful riverfront.
My wife and I spent a week here and hope to return. Cabin and beds very comfortable. Beautiful setting. Good fishing. Many points of river access for wading, but the spots in front of the cabin were great. Multiple hiking options. Saw Golden Eagle, several elk and deer, Mountain sheep, and enjoyed the hummingbirds feeding at the cabin.
Hosts, Betty and Ben, couldn't have been nicer. They live on the property but respect your space. They gave us some fish which we enjoyed for dinner one evening. My wife and Betty enjoyed some hikes and bike rides together with other neighbors.
No cell service was a nice break for us. WiFi signal weak but adequate.! Had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
PS: Bo, a playful Border Collie, was an additional treat.
Best Location and Hospitality
Betty Ricciardi was absolutely amazing. She made sure that we were completely comfortable, so helpful and knowledgeable about all there was to do in the area, and took such good care of my mother, the one non-fisherman in the family while we were out on the river. We caught the Spruce moth hatches on the North Fork end of July and the fishing was some of the best I have ever had. You can wade stretches of the river right from their property. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. And being right on the river can't be beat. Elk and deer spotted right on the property! And for the City dwellers, the stars were just breathtaking with no light pollution. Can't recommend enough.
You won't be disappointed one bit. Without making this too lengthy, everything was wonderful, and the only bad part was having to leave. Both Betty and Ben do everything to ensure your stay is top notch, and are there if you need something. Even Bo will come by to say hi. Lots of wildlife to see right from the porch. Plenty to see and do in the area. Would go back again with no hesitations! Just absolutely wonderful!
