Excellent place to stay near Florence
We stayed at Roberto's place for 5 nights, and found it perfect! On a side street just off the center. Clean and comfortable with everything you need. From here we made day trips to Cinque Terra, Firenze, San Gimignano, Siena, and other Chianti highlights.
The town of San Casciano itself is charming, with lots of great places to eat. Roberto is a gracious and helpful host. Highly recommended.
Thanks Jim. You've been a perfect host! You enjoyed the apartment, the central location, the ease of reaching the most beautiful places in Tuscany from a quiet, beautiful, safe country. Roberto
The apartment is located in the centre of San Casciano and is very cosy, clean and well equiped. But better than this is the extraordinary sympathy of Roberto and his family!
If you want to visit Firenze, Siena and the Chianti region it is the best place you can be! We will surely be back!
Grazie! La vostra simpatia e la vostra soddisfazione sono la nostra migliore ricompensa. Quello che facciamo è un nostro dovere verso i nostri graditi ospiti.
Great apartment, right in the heart of the town, highly recommended!
We stayed at Borgo 8 for two weeks, and had a wonderful time. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. Roberto and Costanza are excellent hosts, friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. They have a reserved car park space in a nearby parking building for the use of their guests. There are many shops, restaurants and bars only metres from the apartment and the Monday morning market in Piazza del Repubblica is not to be missed. There are many books, maps and tourist guides in the apartment, including a bus timetable for the Florence-Sienna bus which we found particularly useful. The apartment is less than 20 km from Florence and the bus costs only 2.60 euros each way. We love San Casciano, and would certainly stay again.
Thank you J. You described all the opportunities of the apartment and the beautiful village of San Casciano.
Convenient and clean
Wonderful Florence suburban apartment had everything needed for our stay / day-trips to Florence and Tuscany countryside. Easy bus ride to downtown and dedicated garage parking space for rental car. Short walk to several good restaurants (recommend Cinque Vino, in particular) & cafes. Fewer tourists in San Casiano if want to be immersed in Italian culture. Roberto was generous to pick us up at the train station, orient us to San Casiano, share his family homestead, answer all our questions and more. Like elsewhere, Vespas are common day and night; being on the first floor, you should sleep well with the bedroom window and wooden blinders closed.
A super relaxing holiday with most generous hosts
We have just had the most wonderful holiday, staying in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, at the holiday apartment of Roberto and Costanza.
We were thrilled with our accommodation with it being so clean and tidy exactly as the pictures portray. There is everything that you need to make a holiday a success; A comfortable and well equipped home from home to return to at the end of a busy day. The town is perfectly situated to allow easy access to Florence by bus and to other major towns and cities in this beautiful part of the world via the autostrada.
Roberto could not have done more to assist us providing assistance with where to park, where to shop and where to visit. We were overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of our hosts. We arrived as strangers but left feeling that we had made new friends. Thank you so much for your contribution to our wonderful holiday. I can t recommend the booking of this apartment highly
enough, both for comfort and the of the welcome that we received. I look forward to returning in the future, there will be no need to search for anywhere else to stay.

Your enthusiasm moved me! But what we do is only our duty to all our guests. Cleanliness is essential and we provide along with our advice. Thanks again.
5 years has gone on, we will return this place
5 years ago a dear friend of mine and myself stayed at this lovely two bedroom flat. 5 years later I will revisit this place and this time I will introduce my husband to Roberto. What I love this place the most is handy location and roomy apartment with friendly host. After a busy day in Florence I just want to come back here for a quiet evening (on holiday). I also love being among the true Chianti people to experience true local people's life. A bonus for a holiday.
Dear friend,It is a pleasure to welcome you again in my apartment, this time not with friends, but with your husband! Roberto
